Tebuconazole 3.6F, manufactured by Quali-Pro, is an excellent systemic fungicide that delivers great preventative and curative control on a wide range of disease pathogens.

As a tebuconazole-based fungicide, it works by inhibiting the biosynthesis of ergosterol, a key component of fungal cell membranes. This action disrupts fungal growth and reproduction, making it an excellent choice for preventing and treating diseases such as leaf spots, rusts, powdery mildew, anthracnose, and blights.

Tebuconazole 3.6F is a long-lasting and cost-effective fungicide that saves time and labor by controlling existing and future fungi activity for up to three weeks. Because it is a systemic fungicide, this product is absorbed by plant tissues and provides long-lasting protection, ensuring continued disease control even after rainfall or irrigation.

Tools Needed

It can be used with a pesticide skid sprayer. We recommend using a professional 50-100 gallon skid sprayer.

How to Use

TEBUCONAZOLE 3.6F

  • Step 1: Determine how much Tebuconazole 3.6F to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiplying them together. For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Depending on the diseases, apply 0.6 to 1.1 fl. oz. of Tebuconazole 3.6F per 1.5 to 3 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. of golf course turf. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
  • Step 2: Add product to tank while water is being added, allow agitator to operate while mixing. If any materials, or other products, are added to the spray tank, allow Tebuconazole 3.6F to be thoroughly mixed before adding.
  • Step 3: Apply the mixture via your motorized skid sprayer making sure to get nice even coverage. To prevent disease, apply every 14-21 days during the growing season, starting when leaves first appear. To treat disease, apply every 14 days for a total of 3 applications beginning at the first sign of disease.

Where to Use

It can be applied to golf course turf. It may also be applied in field, nursery, and container ornamentals and commercial and residential landscapes.

Do not apply it on residential lawns.

It can be used on the following types of grass: Bentgrass, Bluegrass, Fescues, Ryegrass, St. Augustine grass, and Zoysia grass.

When to Use

You would want to use Tebuconazole 3.6F when temperatures are expected to exceed 85 degrees. Lower temperatures could cause the product to be less effective. Treat diseases upon the first sign of disease. To prevent diseases, you need to begin applying at the beginning of the growing season.

Safety Information

Tebuconazole 3.6F is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.

Special Considerations

This pesticide is toxic to fish -- DO NOT apply directly to water, to areas where surface water is present, or to areas below the high water mark.  Runoff may be hazardous to aquatic organisms in neighboring areas. Use of this chemical in areas where soils are permeable, particularly where the water table is shallow, may result in groundwater contamination.
