Taurus Dry Termiticide (PDS Refill Only), manufactured by Control Solutions, is an easy to use termiticide bait used to treat invading termites that are nestled away in their galleries and nests. Taurus Dry cartridges are used primarily with the Precision Delivery System, a professional instrument that makes it easy to inject and disperse the Taurus Dry termiticide product where needed.

Contains the powerful insecticide Fipronil 0.5%, which has proven to be effective and especially lethal to termites. With the help of the Precision Delivery System, the Taurus Dry can be injected in to hard-to-reach places where termites are hiding such as infested wood, shelter tubes and galleries.

Taurus Dry Termiticide (PDS Refill Only) is a non-repellent that works through physical transfer amongst the termite population, meaning that termites that have not come in contact with the Taurus Dry formula can be affected by interacting with those termites that have directly come in contact with the Taurus Dry material. 

Tools Needed

To use Taurus Dry Termiticide (PDS Refill Only), you will need the Precision Delivery System Unit, applicator straws, and optionally a holster to hold everything securely while moving around.

Each Taurus Dry Termiticide (PDS Refill Only) comes in a 4 pack of 3 g cartridges (a total of 12 g of Taurus Dry Termiticide). 

How to Use

• Step 1: Load the Taurus Dry Cartridge into the Precision Delivery System (PDS) by removing the cartridge from the packing and unscrewing the lid. Firmly screw the cartridge into the underside of the PDS, making sure not to overtighten.
• Step 2: Insert the appropriate precision applicator straw into the opening on the front of the PDS and then power the PDS on by moving the switch on the back of the PDS to the "ON" position.
• Step 3: Begin dispensing Taurus Dry as a spot treatment by aiming into voids and target areas and pressing the trigger for 2 to 20 seconds depending on the treatment site. This will dispense 0.1 to 3 grams depending on the pest you are treating and the treatment site. For example, if you are treating Drywood Termites, the rate per injection point is 0.1 to 1 gram with the rate in seconds of the trigger pull being 2 to 20 seconds. For Subterranean Termites in voids, the rate is 0.2 to 2 grams which corresponds to 4 to 40 seconds of trigger pull. 
• Step 4: Discard each empty cartridge after use and replace with a new cartridge by repeating step 1. The sites that have been treated can be retreated if Termites are still active 30 days after application.

Where to Use

Taurus Dry Termiticide (PDS Refill Only) can be applied into voids and galleries, shelter tubes, termite nests or other inaccessible areas of buildings, trees, utility poles, fencing, decking materials, railroad trestles, piers, beams and other structural or landscape timbers where termite damage is observed or termite activity is present or suspected.

When to Use

Use Taurus Dry Termiticide (PDS Refill Only) and the Precision Delivery System to spot treat termite infestations discovered around the home or structure. It is not meant for total termite infestation control.

Safety Information

Taurus Dry Termiticide (PDS Refill Only) is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to product label directions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling and applying this product.

Special Considerations

Taurus Dry Termiticide (PDS Refill Only) dispenses at a rate of 0.05 grams per 1 second of trigger activation time. Each Taurus Dry cartridge contains 3 grams of product. The number of applications per cartridge is based upon the application time at each injection point.

Be careful to NOT use the PDS in an upside-down position as this may result in an accidental emptying of the cartridge.
