Precision Delivery System (PDS Unit Only)
Precision Delivery System (PDS Unit Only)
Note that this is for the PDS unit itself, a holster, and 4 replacement tips. Domex Precise and Taurus Dry may be ordered individually or you can check out the Precision Delivery System Start Kit.
The Precision Delivery System is manufactured by Control Solutions Inc and is a handheld precision dusting application instrument for applying small amounts of dry flowable insecticide bait material to voids, cracks and crevices where insect pests are harboring or in hiding. The Precision Delivery System, or PDS for short, makes it easy to treat tight spaces that are hard to reach with its penetrating ability.
The Precision Delivery System comes with special applicator tips so you can select the right one for the void or crevice you are looking to treat. It is also powered by a 9V battery and can be powered on and off to prevent misfiring. The PDS delivers a consistent targeted amount of bait depending on how long you press the trigger. This ultimately saves you time and money.
If you are looking for an efficient manner to treat insect infestations, the PDS applicator is a great means of doing so as you will limit waste by being able to control and apply the right amount of product precisely where you need it to deliver maximum impact against invading insects.
Tools Needed
To use the Precision Delivery System you will need your choice of Doxem Precise or Taurus Dry bait cartridge to attach to the PDS Unit.
How to Use
- Step 1: Remove the bait cartridge from the packaging and unscrew the lid. Firmly screw the cartridge into the underside of the Precision Delivery System (PDS), making sure not to overtighten so the product doesn't spill.
- Step 2: Insert the appropriate precision application straw into the opening on the front of the PDS and then power the Precision Delivery System on by moving the switch on the back of the PDS to the "ON" position.
- Step 3: Begin dispensing your selected dry flowable product as a crack, crevice or void treatment by inserting the application straw into the desired area and depressing the trigger for the appropriate amount of time depending on the severity of the infestation at a rate of 0.02 grams per 1 second.
Step 4: When complete, discard each empty cartridge after use and replace with a new cartridge by repeating the first step.
Where to Use
The Precision Delivery System is designed to apply small quantities of dry flowable insecticide product in voids, cracks and crevices in residential and commercial structures (apartments, homes, restaurants, hotels, schools, warehouses, supermarkets, etc.) Some key areas of focus where using the Precision Delivery System would be ideal are gaps behind baseboards, under appliances, in points of entry and other crevices where you have noticed insect activity.
When to Use
Use the Precision Delivery System to address insect invasions such as pantry pests, German cockroaches, ants, termites and other such common pests that are known for hiding away in hard to treat areas such as voids, cracks and crevices.
Safety Information
The Precision Delivery System is safe to use when it has been applied properly according to the label. Be sure to wear the proper PPE (gloves, protective eyewear, particle mask, long sleeve clothing, closed-toed shoes) when applying pesticides.
Special Considerations
The PDS is intended for use only with CSI branded Dry Flowable cartridges. Using an off-brand dry flowable will not only not be effective, but it could clog or damage the PDS Unit itself.
Note that each Precision Delivery System comes as different color guns (either gray or red.) The purpose of this is to help operators and technicians keep track of which gun is used with each insecticide (Doxem Precise or Taurus Dry) to avoid contamination.

Q:HOW DO I REPLACE BATTERY?6/8/23A:After you remove the bait cartridge, look underneath the top of the backside of the device opposite the end that dispenses the product and find the screw there. Just unscrew that and the tan top can be lifted off to replace the 9 volt battery inside.
