Tartan Stressgard Fungicide
12/11/25
Tartan Stressgard Fungicide, manufactured by Bayer, is a professional fungicide that delivers excellent control against diseases and improves overall turf health during stressful seasons.
Provides a broad-spectrum control against foliar, stem, and root diseases such as southern blight and rust of professionally managed turf, within 7 days and a residual rate of 21 days.
Due to its minimum application rates, Tartan Stressgard Fungicide is a cost-effective emulsifiable concentrate fungicide against present and future turf diseases in large scale areas.
Tools Needed
It can only be applied with aerial application equipment or ground application equipment like a backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, or spray rig.
Do not apply this product through any type of irrigation system.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Tartan Stressgard Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Depending on the disease, apply 1-2 fl. oz. of Tartan Stressgard Fungicide in 1 to 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. of turf. For turfgrass, up to 345 fl. oz. of product can be applied per acre per year.
- Step 2: To mix, fill your sprayer with half the amount of water, add proper amount of Tartan Stressgard Fungicide, and pour in the remaining half of water. Close the spray tank lid and shake until the solution is evenly mixed. Flush the spray equipment thoroughly following each use and apply the rinsate to a previously treated area.
- Step 3: Begin application of the solution after Tartan Stressgard Fungicide has completely dispersed into the mix water. Spray the mixed product to the top and bottom of turf blades until wet, but not to the point of runoff. A second application is required, and must be done when 28 days have passed after the first application. For aerial applications, do not release spray at a height greater than 10 feet above the ground or plant canopy.
Where to Use
Tartan Stressgard Fungicide may be applied to turf sites including golf courses, institutional and commercial lawns, sod farms, sports fields, parks, municipal grounds, and cemeteries.
When to Use
Apply Tartan Stressgard Fungicide during the spring, summer, or fall to result in healthier, denser, and greener turf and alleviate summer stress. Best times to apply this product is after mowing or allow sprayed areas to completely dry before mowing.
Application to golf courses, including tees, greens, fairways, and roughs is permitted only if the turfgrass is 2.5 inches or less in height.
Safety Information
Tartan Stressgard Fungicide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
