TakeDown II Mini Blocks
TakeDown ll Mini Blocks is an easy-to-use bromethalin bait block that controls a variety of rat and mice species in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
04/21/26
TakeDown ll Mini Blocks, manufactured by Lipha Tech, is a small, compact rodent bait that eliminates common rodents indoors and outdoors.
These mini rodenticide blocks contain bromethalin 0.01%, a potent neurotoxic that acts quickly to kill Norway rats, roof rats, house mice, and meadow voles after ingestion.
TakeDown ll Mini Blocks is a fast-acting bait that requires a single-feed for rats, mice and other rodents to consume a lethal dose. Due to its convenient mini-block size, this product can easily be placed in various bait stations and confined spaces.
Tools Needed
A tamper-proof bait station must be used.
How to Use

- Step 1: Before placing TakeDown II Mini Blocks, it’s essential to inspect the area for signs of rodent activity.
- Step 2: For mice and meadow vole control, apply 1 block of bait per placement, usually spaced 8 to 12 feet apart. Up to 2 blocks may be needed at very high points.
- Step 3: For rat control, use 2 to 12 blocks per placement, usually spaced 15 to 30 feet apart. Adjust the amount of bait applied to the level of rat feeding expected at each bait placement.
- Step 4: For sewer placements, securely attach one end of a wire to the block of bait and the other end to a stationary structure such as the bottom step of a manhole ladder or to a sewer grate, allowing just enough wire for bait to rest on manhole benching. If benching is not present, suspend bait a few inches above the high water line or place bait on a board supported by opposing steps of the ladder. Securing bait in this manner will minimize the chance of removal by rats or water. Place at least 15 blocks per manhole. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for at least 10 days or until signs of rat activity cease.
- Step 5: Replace contaminated or spoiled bait immediately. Wear waterproof gloves, and collect and dispose of all visible dead animals and leftover bait, as well as any bait that has become accessible to non-target animals.

Examples of such structures include homes and other permanent or temporary residences, food processing facilities, industrial and commercial buildings, trash receptacles, agricultural and public buildings, transport vehicles (ships, trains, aircraft), docks and port or terminal buildings, and related structures around and associated with these sites.
Fence and perimeter baiting beyond 100 feet from a structure, as defined above, is prohibited.
When to Use
Use these bait blocks when you notice signs of pest activity or during the middle of an active infestation.
