Surmise Pro Herbicide, manufactured by Prime Source LLC, is an effective non-selective herbicide that easily mixes with water to control grass and broadleaf weeds within 2 to 4 days.

Provides control of broad-spectrum of emerged weeds and grasses such as clover, chickweed, and other unwanted foliage normally resistant to herbicides due to this products double strength formulation.

Surmise Pro Herbicide successfully maintains boundaries around golf course turf, ornamentals, and is a superb pre-plant treatment for ornamentals due to its little soil residue. Once applied, this product quickly becomes rainfast 4 hours after application.

Tools Needed

To use Surmise Pro Herbicide, you will need either a backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, or hydraulic sprayer.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Surmise Pro Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For spot applications, use 1 to 2 fl. oz. of Surmise Pro Herbicide per gallon of water when weeds are less than 6 inches in height or diameter. For broadcast or boom applications, use 32 to 80 fl. oz. of product per 40 gallons of water per acre. Do not apply more than 80 fl. oz. of product per acre per year.
• Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Surmise Pro Herbicide, then fill the rest of the way with remaining half of water. Secure the tank lid then agitate until the product is thoroughly mixed.
• Step 3: Spray undesired vegetation with the mixed Surmise Pro Herbicide until the top and bottom of its leaves are completely covered, but not to the point of runoff. Ensure that 24 hours have passed after application before making any type of irrigation practices.

Where to Use

Surmise Pro Herbicide can be used for trimming and edging landscape areas including: around individual trees and shrubs, Around buildings and foundations, landscape beds, around sign and light posts, along fences, driveways, sidewalks and paths, parking areas, golf course cart paths and around sand traps.

It may also be used on recreational and public areas like airfields, airports, alleys, lanes, paths, trails, access roads, around ornamental gardens, around ornamental trees and shrubs, campgrounds, drive-in theaters, driveways and ramps, educational facilities, highways and roadsides (including aprons, medians, guardrails and right of ways), parking lots, recreation areas, resorts, schools, sidewalks, sports areas, storage areas, tennis courts, and walkways.

Dormant bermudagrass, ornamentals and Christmas trees, greenhouses and shade houses, wildlife food plots, industrial sites, and farmsteads may be treated as well.

Do not use in greenhouses or shade houses containing edible crops.

When to Use

Surmise Pro Herbicide can be used when emerged weeds are actively growing and are not under stress due to drought or cool temperatures.

Safety Information

Surmise Pro Herbicide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.

Do not allow people or pets to enter treated areas until 24 hours have passed after application.

Special Considerations

Surmise Pro Herbicide is rainfast in a minimum of 30 minutes and up to 4 hours after application depending upon environmental conditions, weed species and herbicide application rate.
