Strobe Pro SC Fungicide
Strobe Pro SC Fungicide
Strobe Pro SC Fungicide, manufactured by Quali-Pro, is a first-class preventative and curative fungicide made with 2 active ingredients to control a wide range of foliar, root, and turf diseases in golf courses, lawns, and landscape areas.
Turf diseases such as fairy rings, leaf and stem blights, and rust spot can be problematic because they not only stick out on foliage, but they can also be difficult to remove due to their ability to infest all the way to the plant roots. Strobe Pro SC Fungicide will work to interfere with the normal respiration of the fungus, which will prevent the cell membrane from forming.
Strobe Pro SC Fungicide delivers complete systemic control against diseases helping to improve the appearance of turf quickly and then the residual activity will inhibit these harmful pathogens from coming back. New diseases growth is unable to occur for up to 28 days after application, which is highly advantageous during the cooler months of the year when activity is expected to occur.
Tools Needed
To use Strobe Pro SC Fungicide, you will need to use either a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, hose-end sprayer, or spray rig.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Strobe Pro SC Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). To treat turfgrass established from seed or in overseeding of dormant turfgrass, use 0.75 to 3.0 fl. oz. of Strobe Pro SC Fungicide in 2 to 4 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft depending on the disease. For spot treatments in turf, use 1.5 fl. oz. of product per 1 to 2 gallons of water. For specific application rates and restrictions it would be best to look at the label.
- Step 2: To prepare spray solution, partially fill the spray tank with clean water then pour in the measured amount of Strobe Pro SC Fungicide. Agitate the tank and allow enough time for the product to dissolve in water. Maintain agitation throughout the spraying operation. Do not allow spray mixture to stand overnight or for prolonged periods.
- Step 3: Spray the top and bottom of turf leaves and at the turf's crown with Strobe Pro SC Fungicide until wet, but not to the point of runoff. Apply 1/4" to 1/2" of irrigation directly after application. Reapply this product 14 to 28 days later after first application.
Where to Use
Apply Strobe Pro SC Fungicide on golf courses, lawns and landscape areas around residential, institutional, public, commercial and industrial buildings, parks, recreational areas and athletic fields.
When to Use
Strobe Pro SC Fungicide should be applied prior to disease development such as in the fall or as soon as diseases develop. It may also be safely applied before or after seeding or at seedling germination and emergence to ryegrass, bentgrass, bluegrass, and fescue turfgrass types.
Safety Information
Strobe Pro SC Fungicide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.

Keith's Pro Tips | "Fungal pathogens can develop resistance to products with the same mode of action when used repeatedly. Strobe Pro SC Fungicide is not cross-resistant with other classes of fungicides which have different modes of action. Resistance management strategies may include rotating and/or tank-mixing with products having different modes of action or limiting the total number of applications per season. Avoid alternation with other Qols, including pyraclostrobin and trifloxystrobin or other DMI’s including triadimefon, fenarimol, and myclobutanil." |
