Strobe 50WG Systemic Fungicide
Strobe 50WG Systemic Fungicide
Strobe 50WG Fungicide is a broad-spectrum fungicide that can be applied to eliminate fungal diseases or prevent them from appearing. It comes in wettable granule form and works systemically.
Strobe 50WG Fungicide, manufactured by Quali-Pro, is the generic brand of Heritage WG Fungicide and is designed to deliver broad-spectrum control and prevention of a number of common plant diseases.
The product works systemically by being absorbed through a plant's leaves, crowns, and roots to stop disease at any stage of development.
Strobe 50WG Fungicide comes in wettable granules and is easy to mix and apply. It is used to treat common diseases like anthracnose, brown patch, leaf spot, and many others.
Tools Needed
You can use either a backpack sprayer or a handheld pump sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Strobe 50WG Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet, then multiply them together (length x width = square footage). The recommended rate for Strobe 50WG Fungicide is 0.2 oz. to 0.4 oz. per 1 to 2 gallons of water to treat 1,000 sq. ft. For example, if you calculated a 3,000 sq. ft. area to treat, you would need to mix 0.6 to 1.2 oz. of product in 3 to 6 gallons of water.
- Step 2: In a handheld pump sprayer, add half of the required amount of water and then add the appropriate measured amount of product based on your calculations. Then, fill the sprayer the rest of the way with water and agitate until well-mixed.
- Step 3: Spot-treat the areas on your lawn where you see the fungal disease. We recommend using a cone fan nozzle tip to get a nice, even coating on the infected plant.
- Step 4: Reapply as needed every 14 to 28 days until you no longer see a disease problem. Depending on the disease type, it may take up to two months of diligent treatments to completely eliminate the disease.
Where to Use
Strobe 50WG Fungicide is used to control diseases on turf and ornamentals on golf courses, lawns, and landscaped areas around residential, institutional, public, commercial, and industrial buildings, parks, recreational areas, and athletic fields.
When to Use
Use this fungicide during the growing season when there is a disease affecting your lawn, particularly in the summertime when the lawn may be going through stress. You can also apply it preventatively during the growing season.
Safety Information
Strobe 50WG Fungicide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
Do not allow people or pets to enter the treated area until 4 hours have passed after application.
Special Considerations
While Strobe 50WG Fungicide can be tank-mixed with other pesticides, it has demonstrated some phytotoxic effects when mixed with emulsifiable concentrates. These effects are enhanced if applications are made under cool, cloudy conditions, and these conditions remain for several days following application.

i've previously tried Propiconazole, AZ prop select, Fopshites, hose end fungicide, Scott's granular fungicide with no success. i'll be applying this and Propiconazole (even though it's not working for me) , so that the lawn is does not develop resistance to one fungicide that i'm using. Very pleased with Strobe 50 WDG (Azoxystrobin).

Q:I have recently discovered I have Bird's Nest Fugus. I am wanting to know the best product to use on this particular fungus before I begin any type of irradiacation by hand. All website information that I have read said to rake the yard to loosen it and then gather it up , but have given no real solutions of a fungicide to use. As far as I can tell if I rake the Birds Nest Fugus the tiny seeds which mimic bird eggs would fall out of the nest please and just start the process over complexly. I live in North Dallas and this spring I had top soil put down so that I could replace the grass in my yard that had died due to the drought. I certainly want to stop this mess, but unsure what to use? Can you help? All suggestions would be appreciated.9/1/19A:I've been using the Systemic RTS Fungicide, for the past 3 years. I did have a fungus on my lawn, which was brown patch disease, and it came back every year, for 3 years. I used this fungicide, and only having to attach it to my garden hose, made if very, very, convenient, for me. Normally, I would spray the fungus, two times, every two weeks. It stopped the fungus, and also allowed the grass, to fill back in, in those large areas that were affected. This year, I only sprayed once, for the entire season, and the fungicide worked, and the grass filled back in. I am impressed with the effectiveness, of this fungicide, and I would recommend, that you give it a try.

Q:How long does it take for the Strobe to be waterproof? Also, parts of the yard are dirt from effected fungus spots. Is it necessary to apply Strobe to the dirt or only area with grass or exposed stolons?7/16/17A:Reapplication is required in typically 14-28 days, you should notice the lawn greening back up after the 30 days. Yes, you should spray the entire yard, soil also. Try to improve the peculation and drainage of the soil in those areas.
