Southern Ag Surfactant for Herbicides

Southern Ag Surfactant for Herbicide, manufactured by Southern Agricultural Products, is an excellent non-ionic wetting agent, spreader, and penetrant that reduces the surface tension of water so herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and more can spread more evenly, stick better, and penetrate plant surfaces more effectively. 

It contains 80% active, non-ionic ingredients, which makes it a high-strength, professional-quality surfactant far superior to household detergents or weak all-purpose surfactants. By adding Southern Ag Surfactant to your spray mix, the droplets spread evenly over the leaf surface, stick longer, and penetrate the plant tissue more efficiently. Tools Needed

A backpack sprayer, handheld sprayer, hose-end sprayer, or spray rig can be used. 

How to Use

• Step 1: Before adding a surfactant, check the product label to make sure it can be added. For acaricides, defoliants, desiccants, foliar nutrients, fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, plant growth regulators, or wettable powders, mix 1 to 2 tsp. of Southern Ag Surfactant for Herbicide per 1 gallon of spray solution. For acaricides, defoliants, desiccants, foliar nutrients, fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, plant growth regulators, or wettable powders, apply 1 to 2 pts. of product per 100 gallons of spray solution.
• Step 2: For wettable powders and water-soluble materials, add this product in water before adding pesticide to spray tank. For emulsifiable products, add this product after a good emulsion is formed.
• Step 3: Spray the solution as instructed with the pesticide label you are mixing with.
