Solutions Anchored Rat Mouse Bait Station
Solutions Anchored Rat Mouse Bait Station
Solutions Anchored Rat Mouse Bait Station is a durable and quick-to-open tamper-proof bait station specially designed to secure bait blocks or snap traps in a protective enclosure to allow rodents in and keep people and non-target animals out. This station features an integrated weight system where the concrete weight is incorporated directly into the station's body to keep entrances at ground level and to avoid damaging surfaces. Stations come with a key for faster service and complete protection. (1 key per 6 stations. Bait and traps sold separately.)
Solutions Anchored Rat Mouse Bait Station, manufactured by Solutions, is a heavy-duty and discrete rodent bait station that protects baits and snap traps from the elements, and in turn protect children, pets, and wildlife from rodenticides. This low profile bait station appeals to a rat's or mice burrowing behavior by providing a confined space where they feel safe.
Unlike other weighted bait stations, the Solutions Anchored Rat Mouse Bait Station features an integrated weighted system with the concrete weight incorporated into the station's body. This means entry points are kept at ground level for easy entrance by rodents and avoids scraping or damaging surfaces.
Solutions Anchored Rat Mouse Bait Station offers a quick-to-service and easy-to-unlock lid which opens away from the wall for faster bait reloading. Its smooth design also allows for simplified maintenance and cleaning. This ultra-durable, custom design allows users to easily secure rodent bait blocks within the large bait reservoir by quickly popping in and out the included steel rods for faster rodent control. The bait station's intuitive construction also allows for plastic rat snap traps to be inserted and held securely in place without the need to fiddle with installing vertical rods.
Tools Needed
Tools are not needed for baiting or placing the Solutions Rat & Mouse Bait Stations, however rodenticide bait blocks with pre-drilled holes or bait filled snap traps are needed.
These stations require a key to be opened. You will receive 1 key with the station.
How to Use
- Step 1: Unlock the Solutions Rat & Mouse Bait Station with the supplied key in the single keyhole at the front of the bait station. Simply turn once in a quarter turn motion with the single rod end of the key to open the bait station. Be sure to wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves to hide your scent from rodents when handling the bait station and selected rodenticide products.
- Step 2: When you have inserted either rodent bait or snap trap inside of the station you can then place the stations along exterior walls or fence lines with the entry holes against the wall every 40 feet apart.
How to Load Bait Blocks
- Step 1: Skewer 3-6 bait blocks with the horizontal rods which comes with each station. Insert the loaded rods into the station's bait reservoir, sliding the rod's ends into the rod holders. Shut the trap's lid until you hear it snap into place. Once closed, this tamper-resistant bait station cannot be reopened without the key.
How to Set Trap Inside
- Step 1: Set snap trap within the station with the trap's arming end placed directly in front the small, vertical rod holders. The trap's kill-end should be up against the station's runway wall for easy approach by rodents. Bait the snap trap's trigger plate with peanut butter or seeds.
- Step 2: Once the snap trap is secured, close the lid to the Solutions Rat & Mouse Bait Station until you hear it click into place. When the lid has been closed, you will need to use the key to reopen it since it automatically locks.
- Step 3: Replace the bait on your selected snap trap daily to ensure freshness. Properly dispose of any dead rodents on a daily basis in the snap trap within this bait station.
Where to Use
Solutions Rodent Bait Stations are ideal for outdoor use and can be used indoors for areas where the bait can be accessed by pets or children.
Place the bait stations along walls and linear structures with the entrance holes against the structure up to 40 feet apart from other bait stations used. They are ideal for use around residential areas, restaurants, hotels, pet food supply stores, fence lines, and around farm buildings.
When to Use
Use the Solutions Anchored Rat Mouse Bait Station when there is active rat or mice infestations, especially during the fall and winter when rodents are most active. These bait stations should always be used when using any type of rodenticide bait and when you need to ensure the safety of children, pets, wildlife, and other non-target animals.

Q:Where is key?8/3/19A:I uses a large blade screwdriver to open the bait box and check or add new bait blocks. It is not easy to open so you don’t have to worry about pets or children getting into the bait station. I credit this bait station with the fact that I did not have any mice in my house last winter.

Q:Do the rats die inside the trap or do they eat bait and go off and die?9/2/18A:They eat the bait and go off and die. Baits are slow killing so they'll wander and go about their activities until they succumb to the poison.

Q:Is the openin large enough for a rat??7/30/18A:Yes. That’s why it’s called a rat bait station. Maybe not one of those enormous Norway rats that attack people, but all normal rats yes.

Q:Is the station full of poison when it arrives ?do I have to load it an how long Doses the posion last ?""is there away to know when the station empty"6/30/18A:The Aegis station will not arrive pre-baited and the bait must be purchased separately. The bait will stay good for several years. When storing keep the bait in a cool dry location. A weekly or bi-weekly inspection is recommended to determine if the stations need to be refilled.
