Snake Out Snake Repellent

Snake Out Snake Repellent, manufactured by the Nisus Corporation, is a natural dust formulation that uses environmentally friendly ingredients to keep snakes away from your residence or yard.

The product works by irritating the snake's sensory organ. When snakes come into contact with the Snake Out Snake Repellent aroma in the air, it naturally repels them away from that area.

As an economical and environmentally friendly product, Snake Out Snake Repellent easily repels snakes from desired areas without harming your lawns, gardens, flower beds, and other desirable plants as the product label directs. 

Tools Needed

This repellent does not require tools; you can simply shake out the dust lightly using the container. However, you can use a duster for inaccessible areas.

How to Use

• Step 1: Inspect and observe areas where you have seen snake activity or where snakes can hide. This can be underneath crawl spaces, inside garages, and around the home's perimeter. Shake the Snake Out Snake Repellent out lightly to create protective bands 6 to 8 inches wide per 50 feet in length around your home. For all other applications, apply 1 lb. of product per 100 square feet.
• Step 2: To prepare applications with a duster, remove the cap from the container. Once removed, pour the required amount of product material into the tank and secure the cap.
• Step 3: Once Snake Out Snake Repellent has been applied, monitor for snake activity. Do not water in after application. Reapply this product every 2 weeks until snakes are no longer a threat on the property.

Where to Use

Snake Out Snake Repellent can be applied around homes, garages, barns, swimming pools, gardens (not for use directly on vegetable gardens), garden sheds, woodpiles, and other areas where snakes may be a problem.

It may be used in areas where children and pets play. Apply into voids, holes, and cracks in and around the structure where snakes may enter.

This product can also be applied to the interior perimeter of garages, storage rooms, sheds, outbuildings, and boat houses, the walls of crawlspaces and basements, and sill areas above the foundation walls where snakes may travel or harbor.

Do not apply to crops being grown for food or feed.

When to Use

Use it when you encounter a snake on your property at any time of the year.

Repeated treatments may be necessary after periods of heavy rains, only make applications when treatment area is dry.

Safety Information

Snake Out Snake Repellent is safe to use around children or pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when applying this product.

Keep out of reach of children.

Some snakes are venomous; NEVER attempt to pick up a snake unless you are properly trained and experienced and know which species you are dealing with. Handling wild snakes is best left to experts. Contact your local wildlife management office for further information. Snake Out will not prevent snake bites.

Before using this product, consult with State or local wildlife authorities to ensure that use does not present a hazard to any threatened or endangered species. Where necessary, obtaining all required permits and licenses is the applicator's responsibility.
