The Roller Pump Low Profile Spray Rig is manufactured by Solutions Pest & Lawn and is a professional spraying rig ideal for large volume pesticide spraying jobs. The Roller Pump Low Profile Skid Sprayer can reach long distances and the cast iron pump is ideal for spraying large volumes of products.

This rig comes with a Hypro 6500C-R pump, a 4HP 118cc engine with a 6:1 gear reduction, Hannay reel, 300 feet of 3/8 inch hose, and a 50-gallon low profile tank. All components are bolted to an aluminum frame that will never rust and is welded at every seam.

The Hypro 6500C-R pump provides a max flow of 21 gallons per minute (GPM) with a max pressure of 300 pounds per square inch (psi). The 4HP 118cc engine has lower noise levels, lower vibration, and lower emissions without sacrificing power. The Hannay reel is built with a heavy-gauge steel frame and will hold up to 300 feet of 3/8 inch hose that can withstand 600 psi working pressure.

The 50-gallon low profile tank feature on the Hypro 6500C-R pump prevents the rig from blocking the rear view of the vehicle on which it is mounted. Main component parts are covered by their manufacturer with a 1-year parts warranty and a 100% guarantee (excluding plumbing).

Tools Needed

A spray gun is needed for the use of the Roller Pump Low Profile Skid Sprayer. (This item is sold separately)

How to Use

  • Step 1: The roller pump pressure regulator is preset so you don't need to adjust it. Make sure the filter valve is open and in the off position to start it up. If for any reason you want to adjust the pressure, you will need a crescent wrench and will have to turn the T valve handle to the right or left to release or increase pressure once it is on.
  • Step 2: Go to the engine and move the fuel lever to the ON position. Choke the engine by moving the choke lever to the CLOSED position. Move the engine's throttle lever to about 1/3 of the way toward the MAX setting. Flip the red engine switch to the ON position, and then pull the starter rope. If the choke lever was set to the CLOSED position, gradually move the lever to the OPEN position as the engine warms up. If restarting a warm engine, leave the lever in the OPEN position.
  • Step 3: Once the motor is running, it will idle. Let it run for 15 seconds, put it into normal run, and you're ready to spray.
  • Step 4: When you are finished with the application, go straight to the engine to turn it off by moving the throttle back to the MIN position, flipping the engine switch to the OFF position, and then moving the fuel lever to the OFF position.
  • Step 5: To take the pressure off the hose, open the poly tank and point the gun inside the tank and squeeze the trigger to relieve pressure off the hose.

Where to Use

The Roller Pump Low Profile Skid Sprayer is great for turf spraying, perimeter spraying, tree, and shrub spraying. It can be used around residential and commercial areas. The Roller Pump Low Profile Skid Sprayer can be used on golf courses, recreational areas, around office buildings and homes.

When to Use

The Roller Pump Low Profile Skid Sprayer can be used when treating large outdoor areas with liquid pesticides or fertilizers. It can also be used when needing to treat areas from a long distance.

Safety Information

When spraying the Roller Pump Low Profile Skid Sprayer, be cautious of the amount of pressure applied when spraying surface areas like siding, sidewalks and other areas at close range. Always wear the recommended personal protective equipment (PPE) when applying products.

Special Considerations

The 6500C-R pump used for the Roller Pump Low Profile Skid Sprayer is not direct drive and requires couplings in order to connect the pump to the engine. The Roller Pump Low Profile Skid Sprayer should not be used to spray thick liquids as it may shorten the life of the sprayer. For applying thick treatment products, we suggest The Low Profile Piston Pump Skid Sprayer.

Please note: The color of the hose may vary from green, lime green, red or yellow, depending on which one we have in stock.

The PSI cannot be adjusted or lowered on the Chemflo 160 Electric Sprayer Pump, because it does not have a flow regulator.

Love the setup, only complaint is I wish the reel was on the right side of the pump, figure most people are right handed.

I also ordered some wrong accessories for the pump and these guys called me and then shipped with the correct items. I'd buy from them again with no hesitation.

Great Unit
Been using this unit commercially for 2 years for my small herbicide business. I have had a few issues with the diaphragms but it is used very hard often running 12-13 hours straight in a day. I really have no complaints. Great unit for a fantastic price.
