Shockwave Fogging Concentrate is manufactured by MGK and is a powerful fogging insecticide that delivers two killing agents, two synergists and an IGR for effective insect control. The fogging concentrate can be easily mixed and delivers fast acting control of hard-to-kill pests with the added benefit of an insect growth regulator (IGR). Shockwave can flush insects out of their hiding places, provide fast knockdown, and has an impressive residual effect. Use Shockwave with a ULV or thermal fogger for large infestations that you may have around a residence or commercial building.

Tools Needed

Shockwave Insecticide has to be applied with a thermal or non-thermal ULV fogger. The fogger can be hand held or mounted on a service vehicle.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Shockwave Insecticide can be used diluted or undiluted depending on the severity of the infestation and the area size being treated.
  • Step 2: Pour the solution into the fogger tank and set the particle size range.Check the label for full details on application and rates.
  • Step 3: Apply Shockwave around desired areas at ground level or from the air.

Where to Use

Shockwave Fogging Concentrate can be applied outdoors around residential, industrial, and commercial, farm and animal housing areas. It can be applied around flower gardens, on golf courses, sports fields, and other areas. Check the label for full details on where you can apply.

When to Use

Shockwave Fogging Concentrate should be applied when there is a significant insect infestation in or around a residential or commercial structure. Fogging helps to penetrate cracks and crevices really well since this is where insects like to hide and helps to flush them out.

Safety Information

Shockwave Fogging Concentrate is safe to use around humans, pets, and wildlife when used according to the product label. Cover any exposed drinking water, drinking fountains and animal feed before applying. Have on the proper PPE when mixing or applying the product.

Special Considerations

Shockwave comes in either 1 gallon bottle or a 55 gallon drum when buying in bulk. We only sell the 1 gallon container.

Shockwave
It has worked well for me in dealing with greenhouse pests. I also use it in sheds, attics and around the house. I use it in a fogger and mix with mineral oil at a ratio of Shockwave:oil range between 1:13 to 1:20.

Shockwave
It is oily and strong but it works. Major cleanup after use. It works better for fleas if it is not mixed with mineral. Mixing it with mineral oil kills german cock roaches and other insects,

Questions and Answers
  1. Q:How long should this be aired out?
    10/17/23
A:I assume you are referring to fogging indoors. I used it as part of eradicating a flea infestation. Best I can recall, I fogged the house taking the necessary precautions w/ food storage, serving dishes, etc... I fogged the area and didn't come back for about 3-4 hours. A little bit of visible fog still existed so I just opened the doors and circulated the air. Hope this helps

  5. Q:What is the dilution rate of this concentrate to gallon of water?
    10/18/21
A:i use Shockwave in a fogger for my green house, sheds, etc. I use mineral oil as the dilutent. The instructions say to use a Shockwave:oil ratio "range" of 1:2.25 to 1:29. I use 2 to 3 oz of shockwave with about 40 oz of mineral oil as that is the volume of my fogger can. This works out to be a ratio of 1:13 to 1:20 and has been successful for me.
