Seido Ornamental Fungicide, manufactured by OHP, is a effective suspended concentrate fungicide that can prevent powdery mildew on commercial ornamentals and bedding plants.

This easy to use product new chemical class and novel mode of action makes it harder for powdery mildew to take over greenhouse and nursery ornamentals. With a 4 hour REI, professional applicators can get back to work faster.

Seido Ornamental Fungicide offers complete protection to both sides of ornamental and bedding plant leaves while the vapor activity enhances spray coverage to all surfaces of the plant as well as neighboring plants. After application, this preventative fungicide stays where you need it, demonstrating excellent rainfast in as little as 30 minutes.

Tools Needed

Seido Ornamental Fungicide can be applied with all types of spray equipment normally used for ground applications and chemigation equipment applied via irrigation systems. Examples of this could be a backpack sprayer, hose-end sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, or spray rig.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Determine how much Seido Ornamental Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For container and field grown (bed) plant ornamentals, use 4 to 5 fl. oz. of Seido Ornamental Fungicide in 100 gallons of water per acre. Do not exceed 4 applications per acre per year.
  • Step 2: Mix the Seido Ornamental Fungicide in a separate container by first filling it with half the amount of water, then adding the measuring amount of product. Next pour the remaining half of water into the tank and shake until solution is mixed. Pour the solution into the sprayer tank when you are ready to spray. DO NOT allow spray mixture to stand overnight or for prolonged periods.
  • Step 3: Spray the top and bottom of ornamental leaves with Seido Ornamental Fungicide to the point of runoff. For sprinkler applications, let the product fall onto ornamentals for 30 to 45 minutes. Make applications on a 7-14 day interval.

Where to Use

Seido Ornamental Fungicide can be applied to container and field grown (bed) ornamental plants in commercial greenhouses, shade-houses and outdoor nurseries that are grown for resale.

Not intended for use by the homeowner.
