Rimsulfuron 25 DF

Rimsulfuron 25 DF, manufactured by Quali-Pro, is a pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicide designed to control grassy and broadleaf weeds in various sites, especially warm-season landscapes.

This dry flowable granule form rapidly moves into shoots and roots of problem weeds such as common chickweed or spotted spurge within 7 days of treatment. 

Rimsulfuron 25 DF is an easy to mix herbicide that becomes rainfast 4 hours after application providing months of control over weeds. 

Tools Needed

To use Rimsulfuron 25 DF Herbicide you will need to mix the product in a pesticide spray rig for large volume applications or a backpack sprayer.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Rimsulfuron 25 DF you will need for your application. To do this, measure (in feet) and multiply the area length times the width (length x width = square footage). Typically, Rimsulfuron 25 DF is mixed at a rate of 4 ounces per 10 gallons of water per acre.
• Step 2: Fill your sprayer tank halfway with water and then add the appropriate amount of Rimsulfuron 25 DF to water. Fill with the remaining half of water and then agitate the sprayer until the solution is well-mixed.
• Step 3: Spray the target weed or conduct a broadcast application, making sure to get even coverage via fan spray setting.
• Step 4: Check back after 2 weeks and reapply if necessary to get complete control.

Where to Use

Rimsulfuron 25 DF can be used on Sod Farms, Seed Farms, Golf Courses, Professionally Managed College and Professional Sports Fields, Industrial and Commercial Lawns, and Other Similar Nonresidential Areas. 

Do not apply to residential lawns.

When to Use

Use Rimsulfuron 25 DF Herbicide when you notice weed growth. Spraying works best when the soil is moist and weeds are actively growing. To suppress the growth of seedheads time, your applications during green-up and before seed-heads emerge. Apply on calm days when wind speed are low to minimize drift and when rain is not in the immediate forecast.

Safety Information

Rimsulfuron 25 DF is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to product label instructions. Always wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.

Keep people and pets away from the treated area until the product has completely dried.

Special Considerations

In warm, moist conditions, the effectiveness of the herbicide is accelerated; in cold, dry conditions, the herbicide is less effective.
