QuickBayt Fly Bait, manufactured by Bayer Environmental Sciences. is a fast-acting granular insecticide bait for controlling fly infestations.
This product contains two powerful attractants combined with imidacloprid, a non-repellent active ingredient that works rapidly—even against flies resistant to such insecticides.
QuickBayt Fly Bait can kill flies within 60 seconds. Just scatter around the areas they have been gathering and you'll see a big difference.
Tools Needed
You don't need any tools as it can easily be sprinkled onto surfaces directly from the container but if you wish, you could use a hand spreader.
How to Use
- Step 1: Observe and note the areas where you have noticed fly activity, and then begin to scatter the bait directly from the container onto dry surfaces
- Step 2: Apply at a rate of 1.5 oz (3 tbsp)/250 sq ft OR place QuickBayt in bait stations out of animal access at least 4 ft above the ground, in a motionless site where flies rest.
- Step 3: Alternatively, you can paint the application onto surfaces by mixing 3 lb QuickBayt with 1 qt water and stirring, then using a brush to paint where the flies rest.
- Step 4: Reapply every 7 days until flies are no longer infesting.
Where to Use
QuickBayt Fly Bait should be applied anywhere you have seen flies gather, such as Livestock Facilities and stables, warehouses, dumpsters, recycling areas, and outside non-food-contact areas of restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, grease pits, or loading docks. Focus application on dry surfaces outside of structures, try to create an even band, and avoid making piles.
When to Use
Use whenever you are encountering an infestation of flies—time applications to begin at the start of the season before fly populations peak.
