The FBS-1 Fly Bait Station is manufactured by VM Products and is an innovative new bait station made specifically for granular fly bait. The station can be mounted on fences, walls or other surfaces near dumpsters, behind restaurants or in other places where flies are a problem.
The FBS-1 Fly Bait Station has a locking lid that only allows flies to enter, protecting the bait from the elements, children and pets. The station easily mounts to all types of surfaces using zip ties, screws or liquid nails.
Tools Needed
There are no tools needed to use the FBS-1 station but you will need bait to input into the station. Also if you want to hang it somewhere you may need nails, screws, zipt ties, velcro or some other helpful tool for mounting.
How to Use
- Step 1: Locate and inspect areas where flies are a nuisance.
- Step 2: Mount bait station in the desired location with vent holes facing out. Place FBS-1 stations every 4 to 10 feet depending on the severity of the issue.
- Step 3: Once secured, open bait station, add granular or liquid fly bait in the 2 removable trays, close trap with the included key to secure. Replace the bait as needed until the fly issue has been resolved.
Where to Use
The Fly Bait Station can be mounted to walls, fences, stakes, poles, etc. with nails, screws, zip ties, velcro or liquid nails. Ideal places to place the station are around dumpsters, rear entry doors, drive-up windows, along fence lines and docks and bay areas.
Safety Information
This product is safe to use when applied according to label directions. To be on the safe side, wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when inputting baits into the station.
Special Considerations
The FBS 1 Bait Station comes in clear plastic with a compounded metal flake that reflects light, creates contrast, and increases fly attractiveness.
Low profile design is made to fight in tight spaces. It's actual measurements are: Width 6.5", Height 3.75", Depth 2.75", Weight 0.2359 lbs.
*Please note that you will receive 1 - key for every 6 stations purchased. Also, the key will be taped on the inside of the station through the entry hole.

I didn't realize that I needed a key and only would get one if I ordered 6 or purchase one separately. At first it cracked when trying to open. Then I had to pry it open with tools and slice off the tabs just to use. Easier to put the bate in a plastic container with holes in the lid. Glad I only purchased one.

Fly Traps That Work

My knotty pine porch has slider windows in it and the flies must be getting through somehow, especially on warm sunny days. Don't like the thought of using spray. It messes up the windows bad. This is a neater/cleaner way of trapping them.

Q:My key is not like key in pics how do you use key?7/23/20A:The key is a flat stamped piece of metal with two blunt prongs at the end. These two prongs fit into the two horizontal slots on the front of the bait station. You twist it slightly clockwise to flex plastic tabs that release the door. I took photos but this format didn’t accept the paste. Good luck.

Q:which way do the rungs go tried both ways and haven't got any results how far away from trash can in garage4/4/17A:The awning and over hangs will be open to the bottom, so flies go inside and no water is entered. Put it somewhere there is not such a heavy food source/ attractant already.
