Starbar Fly Stik

Starbar Fly Stik (formerly Musca-Stik and Musca-Stik Jr.), manufactured by Starbar, are insecticide-free, odor-free, indoor/outdoor sticky fly traps that attract flies two ways—visually and via pheromone scent for complete fly control.

This pesticide-free fly trap is specially designed with an orange-colored paper that helps to attract flies visually. The powerful fly sex pheromone, doubles the attraction power, luring unsuspecting flies straight to the trap to where they can't escape. When used as an outdoor fly trap, this product will trap flies without producing foul odors.

They are easy-to-use and disposable fly sticks that can be used both indoors and outdoors. They are great for food prep areas where flies frequent.

Tools Needed

This fly comes ready to use and requires no additional tools for its setup or installation.

How to Use

• Step 1: Carefully remove the Starbar Fly Stik and the pheromone attractant granule from the packaging. Save the box for easy disposal later.
• Step 2: Open the packet, then sprinkle the pheromone attractant granules over the length of the product or pour them into the bottom plastic end cap.
• Step 3: Use the hook to hang the Starbar Fly Stik in a room where flies have been active, or place it on flat, stable surfaces out of reach of children and pets.
• Step 4: Over time, any flies in the area will detect the attractant and land on the trap, becoming stuck and unable to remove themselves. Throw the product away when about 80% of the surface is covered with flies. Dispose of the trap by placing it in the original box or appropriate garbage bag. If fly activity continues, then replace it with a new Starbar Fly Stik.

Where to Use

Hang the Starbar Fly Stik from the ceilings or exposed rafters or place it on a flat surface that is out of reach of children and pets.

Use this product to control flies in kitchens, food prep areas, outdoor patios, dumpster areas, and any other place where flies may gather.

When to Use

This fly trap should be used when there are flies frequenting an area or in food-prep areas where flies will congregate.

Safety Information

Starbar Fly Stik is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling and applying this product.

The surface of the trap is highly sticky but not poisonous.

Keep out of reach and children. If children or pets become stuck, use cooking oil to loosen the trap's stickiness.

Special Considerations

The product comes in two sizes: regular and junior. We recommend the larger Starbar Fly Stik for more extensive control situations.

It will provide non-toxic, long-lasting control of flies in both indoor and outdoor areas. Most active infestations cannot be controlled through the use of one product. To get rid of most fly infestations, clean away any sources of filth the flies are attracted to, and apply an insecticide and Insect Growth Regulator to kill any adult flies and prevent their larvae from developing.

Please note: You may receive either Zoecon branded or Star-Bar branded fly sticks. Both are Central Life Sciences products and offer the same control of flies.
