Quali-Phite F Fungicide, manufactured by Quali-Pro, is a emulsfisiable concentrate fungicide that controls as well as suppresses diseases such as phytophthora, pythium, and downy mildew on commercial and municipal lawns, golf courses, and other terrains.

Formulated with the active ingredient, Mono- and di-potassium salts of Phosphorous Acid 45.5%, which inhibits the oxidative phosphorylation in the sensitive fungi and elevates the level of phytoalexins in the plant tissue without the use of heavy metals to better treat diseased plants.

Quali-Phite F Fungicide can easily tank mix with other fungicides for a wider flexible treatment of fungi and diseases on conifers and lawns.

Tools Needed

Quali-Phite F Fungicide will need to be applied with a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, spray rig, or hose-end sprayer.

The use of adjuvants (stickers, spreaders, wetting agents) can be used.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Determine how much Quali-Phite F Fungicide to use by calculating the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply (length X width = square footage). To find acreage, take the square footage and divide by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acre). For warm-seasoned and cool-seasoned turf, use 5 oz. of Quali-Phite F Fungicide per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. To treat conifers, apply 1 quart of product per 100 gallons of water per acre. Ground applications on ornamentals, use 2 quarts of product per 100 gallons of water per acre. Foliar sprays on roses, will need 1 quart of product per 100 gallons of water per acre. For suppression of diseases, refer to the product label for specific application rates.
  • Step 2: Fill your selected sprayer with half the amount of water needed, pour in measured amount of Quali-Phite F Fungicide, then fill the rest of the way with remaining half of water. Close the sprayer tank lid and shake until solution is evenly mixed.
  • Step 3: Spray the top and bottom of plant leaves until wet, but not to the point of run-off for ground and foliar applications. For soil treatments, thoroughly soak the soil to the root zone of the labeled plant. Repeat applications will depend on the plant being treated and disease present for best control refer to the product label. Do not mow or water treated areas until sprays have completely dried.
