Pyranha Equine Spray & Wipe

Pyranha Equine Spray & Wipe, manufactured by Pyranha, is a effective water-based fly spray that contains pyrethrins designed to keep biting and flying pests off of horses.

The spray has a quick knockdown and is a repellent as well and it also is citronella scented. Use it to protect your horses against stable flies, house flies, horse flies, horn flies, ticks, face flies, gnats, and more.

Pyranha Equine Spray & Wipe is a convenient, ready-to-use insecticide that provides a fast kill against flying pests.

Tools Needed

Pyranha Equine Spray & Wipe comes in a ready-to-use spray bottle so no additional tools are needed for its application. You may also need to use a horse brush for during and/or after spraying or wiping the product on your horse.

How to Use

• Step 1: Start by thoroughly washing and brushing your horse to remove excess dirt and debris from its coat.
• Step 2: Measure how much Pyranha Spray & Wipe you need for your horses. It is recommended to use 1 to 2 ounces for adequate protection. When wiping, apply a generous amount (1 to 2 ounces) onto a sponge or clean soft cloth or mitt then wipe over areas to be protected, focusing your attention on legs, belly, shoulder and neck and facial areas. For spraying, apply 1 to 2 ounces as a light spray mist to the horse's coat while brushing lightly against the grain of hair.
• Step 3: Product should be reapplied every 10 to 14 days or as needed to maintain control. Reapply after animal is washed, has had excessive sweating or is exposed to heavy rain.

Where to Use

Use Pyranha Equine Spray & Wipe on horses residing in barns or stables and other areas where they are kept and where they graze and are active. Pay special attention to legs, belly, shoulders, neck and facial areas. Avoid eyes and the horse's mucous membranes.

When to Use

Apply Pyranha Equine Spray & Wipe when your horse is being irritated by biting flies and other flying pests between the spring and fall seasons. Reapplication should be done after animal is washed or has been excessively sweating or if they are exposed to heavy rainfall.

Pyranha Equine Spray & Wipe is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.

Special Considerations

Before applying it is suggested to thoroughly brush the horse's coat in order to remove dirt and debris. Shampoo and rinse thoroughly if you have dirty horses, prior to application. After the horse's coat is totally dry, apply Pyranha Equine Spray & Wipe.
