Premise Pro Insecticide

Premise Pro Insecticide, manufactured by Envu, is a superior non-repellent, systemic termiticide and insecticide that successfully controls a wide range of structure and perimeter pests, such as subterranean termites, carpenter ants, and other wood-infesting pests.

This water-based formulation contains the active ingredient imidacloprid at 42.8%. The non-repellent nature of Premise Pro makes it especially effective in eliminating entire colonies because pests unknowingly contact the treated areas and spread the product to others via grooming and interaction creating a domino effect.

It can be applied with a handheld pump sprayer or injector tool. 

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Premise Pro Insecticide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). Depending on the pest and treatment area, you will use a 0.05% or 0.10% formulation. To achieve a 0.05%, mix 6.3 fl. oz. of Premise Pro Insecticide with 50 gallons of water. To achieve a 0.10%, use 12.5 fl. oz. of product with 50 gallons of water. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions. 
• Step 2: For general applications made with a handheld pump sprayer, begin by filling the spray tank one-third of the way with water. Add the appropriate amount of product based on your measurements, and then add the rest of the water needed. Close the sprayer lid and agitate until the solution is well mixed. For termiticide treatments, mix in a separate tank mixing container like a 5-gallon bucket. 
• Step 3: For use as a general surface, spot, crack, and crevice or wall void application. Apply to surfaces where pests are active, including into cracks and crevices. Be sure to the point of wet, but not runoff.
• Step 4: For trench treatments, trench along the outside foundation about 6 inches in width and 6 inches in depth. Mix the spray solution with soil as it is being placed in the trench.

Where to Use

Premise Pro Insecticide can be used on buildings, porches, patios and other structures, around doors and windows, eaves and attic vents, utility entry points, soffit areas and other exterior openings (including foundation cracks or drilled holes) where these pests enter the structure or where they crawl or hide.

When to Use

Apply before or during active infestations. 

Safety Information

Premise Pro Insecticide is safe for people and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product. 

Do not allow residents or pets into the immediate area during the application or contact with treated areas until spray has dried.

Special Considerations

Annual retreatment of the structure is prohibited unless there is clear evidence that reinfestation or treated zone disruption has occurred.
