Posterity Forte Fungicide
04/10/26
Posterity Forte Fungicide, manufactured by Syngenta, acts as both a preventative and curative agent for labeled golf turf diseases.
Formulated with the three active ingredients, pydiflumetofen, azoxystrobin, and propiconazole, it is a simple to use systemic fungicide that will help keep your golf turf strong looking healthy throughout the growing season.
Posterity Forte Fungicide can be utilized in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices. This type of program can help reduce disease development and spread.
Tools Needed
To use Posterity Forte Fungicide, you will need either a backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, hose-end sprayer, or a spray rig.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Posterity Forte Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do so, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acre). Depending on the disease on golf course turfgrass, apply between 0.42 to 0.84 fl. oz. of Posterity Forte Fungicide in 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. or 18.3 to 36.6 fl. oz. of product in 30 to 175 gallons of water per acre. Do not make more than 2 applications at the maximum application rate per year.
- Step 2: Once you have calculated the correct size of the treatment area along with the proper mix rate according to the label , you can begin mixing. To mix, fill your sprayer halfway with water and add the proper amount of Posterity Forte Fungicide. Then add the remainder of the water and mix well.
- Step 3: Apply the mixed Posterity Forte Fungicide evenly as a broadcast spray or spot treatment across the desired treatment area of the golf turf, but not to the point of runoff. Reapply once every 14 to 28 days depending on the labeled disease.
Where to Use
Posterity Forte Fungicide can only be used on golf course turfgrasses.
Do not apply directly to water, or to areas where surface water is present.
When to Use
Posterity Forte Fungicide should be applied before disease is present or as soon as possible when disease symptoms are found on golf course turf. Avoid applications when rainfall is expected to occur within 48 hours before or after treatment.
