Peters Professional Liquid S.T.E.M. Fertilizer
Peters Professional Liquid S.T.E.M. Fertilizer
Peters Professional Liquid S.T.E.M. Fertilizer, manufactured by ICL Specialty Fertilizer, is a ready to mix liquid fertilizer that contains all major micronutrients formulated as chelates for greenhouse production.
This industry standard water-soluble micronutrient supplement provides an important boost of micronutrients for problematic high pH growing media and deficient nutrient crops.
Peters Professional Liquid S.T.E.M. Fertilizer is compatible with most fertilizing product programs or on its own with a single application, making it a simple and effective way to incorporate into various ornamental nutrition plans.
Tools Needed
Peters Professional Liquid S.T.E.M. Fertilizer should be applied with a backpack sprayer, spray rig, or injector equipment.
How to Use
- Step 1: Depending on the application method, the rates will vary so it would be best to refer to the product label. To drench with a 1:100 injector, use 2 to 8 fl. oz. of Peters Professional Liquid S.T.E.M. Fertilizer per gallon of stock solution. To drench with a 1:200 injector, mix 4 to 16 fl. oz. of product per gallon of stock solution. Drench applications without an injector will use 2 to 8 fl. oz. of product in 100 gallons of water. For foliar spray application, apply 2 to 4 fl. oz. of product in 100 gallons of water.
- Step 2: To mix for injector equipment, you will need to pour half the amount of water needed and measured amount of Peters Professional Liquid S.T.E.M. Fertilizer into a separate tank. Add the remaining half of water into the tank and agitate until solution is well-mixed. You can repeat this mixing process for backpack sprayers with the exception of mixing in the sprayers tank instead of a separate one.
- Step 3: Spray the mixed Peters Professional Liquid S.T.E.M. Fertilizer as a drench or foliar spray until the top and bottom of crop leaves are wet, but not to the point of runoff.
Where to Use
Apply Peters Professional Liquid S.T.E.M. Fertilizer to ornamentals in greenhouse productions.
When to Use
Peters Professional Liquid S.T.E.M. Fertilizer should be applied when you need to boost micronutrients for problematic high pH growing media situations or to supplement plants with higher micronutrient demands.
Safety Information
Peters Professional Liquid S.T.E.M. Fertilizer is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
