Peters Peat Lite Special 20-10-20, manufactured by ICL Specialty Fertilizer, is a versatile fertilizer that can be used in year-round ornamental crop operations to release a full range of 20-10-20 npk micronutrients for strong root and shoot growth.

This water soluble granular fertilizer contains an acidifying action that corrects high levels of pH in growing media. Effective for all water types to be mixed with as this product has a pure formulation, meaning it will quickly dissolve in water.

Peters Peat Lite Special 20-10-20 is an easy to mix fertilizer that attends to various plants, including those sensitive to excess micronutrients.

Tools Needed

To apply Peters Peat Lite Special 20-10-20, you will need a watering can or non-injection sprayer such as a backpack sprayer.

How to Use

• Step 1: Depending on the ppm rate, the application rates will vary so it would be best to refer to the bag label. Applications with a watering can or spray tanks (no injectors), apply 1 tsp of Peters Peat Lite Special 20-10-20 with 1 gallon of water to deliver 284 ppm N. For a 426 ppm N, use 1 tbsp of product with 2 gallons of water. For a 545 ppm N, use 1 cup of product in 25 gallons of water.
• Step 2: Fill the sprayer with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Peters Peat Lite Special 20-10-20, then add the remaining half of water. Close the spray tank and agitate until the granules have dissolved.
• Step 3: Spray the Peters Peat Lite Special 20-10-20 solution to the top and bottom of plant leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff.

Where to Use

Peters Peat Lite Special 20-10-20 can be applied to bedding plants, containerized woody plants, flowering pot crops, potted foliage, plugs (all types), and outdoor landscapes.

When to Use

Apply Peters Peat Lite Special 20-10-20 when you need to correct excessive pH in growing media.

Special Considerations

Peters Peat Lite Special 20-10-20 contains more than .001% molybdenum (Mo). The application of fertilizing materials containing molybdenum (Mo) may result in forage crops containing levels of molybdenum (Mo) which are toxic to ruminant animals.

Unsealed or partially used products may take on moisture from the atmosphere and may subsequently soften or harden in the bag. As long as bags are properly re-sealed, this should in no way diminish nutrient content of the fertilizer.
