Pageant Intrinsic Brand Fungicide, manufactured by BASF, is a effective fungicide that fights against major ornamental and vegetable diseases for increased agricultural production.

Tools Needed

To apply Pageant Intrinsic Brand Fungicide, you will need to use a ground sprayers including tractor groundboom, backpack/handboom, handwand, etc.; aerial spray with fixed-wing aircraft or helicopter; and by chemigation using sprinkler and drip irrigation.

Do not use organosilicone-based adjuvants with this product as certain injury can result on some ornamental species.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Pageant Intrinsic Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Depending on the disease, you will use between 12 to 18 oz. of Pageant Intrinsic Brand Fungicide per 100 gallons of water of ornamentals. Depending on the disease and greenhouse-grown vegetable crop, you will use between 9.7 to 25 oz. of product per 20 gallons of water per acre as a foliar spray. Use 100 gallons of water per acre on mature plants. Do not apply more than 55.5 oz. of product per acre per crop cycle. Do not apply more than 54 oz. of product per acre per crop cycle to any fruiting vegetable, except tomato. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
• Step 2: Fill your sprayer with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Pageant Intrinsic Brand Fungicide, then pour the remaining half of water into the tank. Secure the tank lid and shake until the solution is completely dissolved.
• Step 3: When the Pageant Intrinsic Brand Fungicide is thoroughly mixed, spray the crown and base of the plant and the soil or potting medium surrounding the crown until wet as a broadcast or direct application, but not to the point of runoff. Repeat application as listed on the product label for the specific plant being treated.

Where to Use

Use Pageant Intrinsic Brand Fungicide on ornamentals, commercial production of specified greenhouse-grown vegetables, specified vegetable transplants for the home consumer market and specified non-bearing woody transplants for agricultural production.

This product may be applied on non-bearing fruit and nut trees, vines, brambles and bushberries grown in commercial ornamental production nurseries, commercial greenhouses, lathhouses, shadehouses or other production structures. Immature and/or inedible fruits or nuts or berries may appear on the plant but are not intended for harvest or consumption.

Do not use this product for vegetable transplants that are intended for agricultural production fields.

When to Use

Apply Pageant Intrinsic Brand Fungicide as a preventative, especially when conditions are favorable for fungal infection. This product may also be applied when disease symptoms first appear on listed plants.

Do not apply this product when rainfall is expected to occur 48 hours after application.

Safety Information

Pageant Intrinsic Brand Fungicide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.

Do not allow people or pets to enter treated areas until the spray has completely dried.

Special Considerations

Do not tank mix Pageant Intrinsic Brand Fungicide with adjuvants or other agricultural products in commercial production of greenhouse-grown vegetables.
