A handheld spreader, broadcast spreader, or push spreader will be needed. 

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Over n Out! Advanced Fire Ant Killer to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Apply 2.3 to 4.6 pounds of Over n Out! Advanced Fire Ant Killer per 1,000 sq. ft. For broader applications, use 100 to 200 pounds of product per acre. To treat individual ant mounds, use 1/2 cup of product per mound. 
• Step 2: Calibrate the spreader to the proper setting the load the correct amount of granules. 
• Step 3: Evenly distribute the granules across the treatment area. For ant mounds, treat the actual mound and an area 4 ft. in diameter around the mound. For perimeter applications, apply to the ground area 5 to 10 feet wide around and adjacent to the structure. 
• Step 4: Irrigate the soil before application if it is dry. For ant mounds, irrigate with 1 to 2 gallons of water for each mound after application. 

Where to Use

Over n Out! Advanced Fire Ant Killer can be used on lawns, ornamentals, flowers, and home perimeter. 

When to Use

Apply during the morning or late evening when it is cool and the ants are most active. Make applications when temperatures are between 65 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. 

Avoid applications when rainfall is expected within the next 24 hours of treatment.
