OHP 6672 4.5 F Fungicide, manufactured by OHP, is a reliable, broad-spectrum fungicide offering preventative, curative, and systemic control against various diseases in annual and perennial flowers, turf, shrubs, trees, and other ornamental foliage.

The locally systemic movement of the active ingredient thiophanate-methyl allows the fungicide to move into plant tissue, reaching areas that surface sprays might miss. This is particularly valuable for controlling pathogens that infect leaf undersides, stems, or developing buds. It targets fungal pathogens such as black spot, anthracnose, tip blight and more by interfering with essential cellular processes, specifically by inhibiting mitosis and disrupting the development of fungal cell walls, effectively halting spore germination and mycelial growth.

OHP 6672 4.5 F Fungicide is an effective preventative and curative fungicide concentrate that controls a wide variety of ornamental diseases in turf, greenhouses, nurseries, and landscapes. With its easy-to-use formulation, plant safety, and versatility across growing systems, this product provides effective disease control with reduced labor and improved ornamental quality.

Tools Needed

A backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, hose-end sprayer, or spray rig will be needed.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Determine how much OHP 6672 4.5 F Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For foliar applications, apply 7.25 to 20 fl. oz. of OHP 6672 4.5 F Fungicide per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. depending on the disease. For turf, use 2 to 5.33 fl. oz. of product per 2 to 4 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
  • Step 2: Fill the sprayer tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, and pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until well-mixed.
  • Step 3: Spray the top and bottom of the leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff. Reapply when 14 days have passed after application.

Where to Use

OHP 6672 4.5 F Fungicide can be used on woody, flowering, herbaceous, and tropical foliage ornamental plants and trees in containers, greenhouses and landscapes and also on turfgrass.

When to Use

Apply 14 to 21 days prior to when a particular disease usually appears and at the very latest, upon first sign of disease.

Do not apply this product to home orchards or backyard fruit trees after fruit set.
