Nuvan Prostrips is a ready-to-use insecticide manufactured by AMVAC. Each strip contains the active ingredient, dichlorvos, which is lethal to targeted pests by damaging their nervous system. Nuvan ProStrips are placed in a plastic cage that snaps closed and can be conveniently hung up in areas where targeted pests are located. Nuvan Prostrips have no odor and are ideal for use in garages, closets, and other enclosed areas where people will not inhabit for more than 4 hours. Insects that bite, crawl, sting, carry diseases, and more can be eliminated for up to 4 months by hanging up Nuvan Prostrips.

We no longer carry the Nuvan ProStrip Refills. However, you can still purchase the standard version of Nuvan ProStrips.

Tools Needed

To apply Nuvan ProStrips, you will need gloves. This product comes with a plastic encasement to hold the product.

How to Use

• Step 1: Before you use Nuvan Prostrips, measure the cubic feet of the area you want to treat. You can do this by measuring the length, width, and height of the area, then multiplying these numbers together (length x width x height = cubic feet). One 16-gram strip will treat up to 200 cubic feet.
• Step 2: While wearing gloves, open the foil package and peel the Prostrip from its packaging. Open the plastic encasement, place the Prostrip inside, then snap the plastic encasement shut.
• Step 3: Hang or place the Nuvan Prostrip in the designated area where targeted pests are gathering and out of the reach of children or pets.
• Step 4: Replace the Prostrip every 4 months for maximum control.

Where to Use

Nuvan Prostrips are ideal for use in enclosed areas where people or pets will not occupy the space for long periods of time. They can be used in closets, garages, attics, boathouses, storage rooms, cabinets, boiler rooms, offices, locker rooms, near trash cans, dumpsters, and other non-food storage and service areas. Nuvan Prostrips can be placed in animal quarters such as barns, stalls, milk rooms, kennels, and other similar areas, especially near areas where flies gather.

When to Use

Nuvan Prostrips can be used any time targeted pests, such as flies, mosquitoes, gnats, and others are in enclosed areas.

Safety Information

Nuvan ProStrips are safe to use around children, pets, wildlife, and livestock when applied according to the product label. HangNuvan ProStrips in areas where animals and children cannot reach or access the strips. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling and hanging up Nuvan Prostrips.

Special Considerations

Nuvan Prostrips come in a pack of twelve 16-gram strips or a pack of three 65-grams strips. Always read the product label to ensure the Nuvan Prostrips are being placed in proper areas for safe and maximum use.
