Negate 37WG
Negate 37WG is a powerful post-emergent herbicide that effectively controls various common weeds on turfgrass, such as dandelion, chickweed, and poa annua. It delivers reliable control that can last 8 to 12 weeks.
10/14/25
Negate 37WG, manufactured by Quali-Pro, is a tough post-emergent herbicide that comes in a wettable granule form to control over 35 types of broadleaf and grassy weeds in bermudagrass and zoysiagrass turf.
The herbicide's active ingredients are both rimsulfuron and metsulfuron, which makes it a dual-powered herbicide that can successfully control various annual grasses and broadleaf weeds in established warm-season turfgrass.
Additionally, its low use rate and water-dispersible granule (WDG) formulation ensure efficient mixing and application, making it an economical yet highly effective choice for maintaining pristine, weed-free warm-season turf.
Negate 37WG is a low-odor herbicide that offers superior post-emergent weed control in listed warm-seasoned turf within golf courses, sod farms, residential lawns, commercial lawns, and more. Unlike many other herbicides, it provides long-lasting residual suppression between 8 to 12 weeks, reducing the need for repeat applications and saving both time and cost.
Tools Needed
You will need to mix the product into a power sprayer of your choosing, such as a professional pesticide spray rig, for large-volume applications.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Negate 37WG to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length x width = square footage). For acreage, divide the square footage by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Negate 37 is applied at 1.5 fl. oz. per acre and spray volumes of 20 to 80 gallons of water per acre. Check the label for specific rates, as they vary depending on the application site and the weed you are trying to control.
- Step 2: Fill your spray tank with the appropriate amount of water and then add the appropriate amount of Negate 37WG based on your calculations. Fill with the remaining half of water and then agitate the sprayer until the solution is well-mixed.
- Step 3: Spray the target weeds, getting even coverage via the fan spray setting.
- Step 4: Check back after 2 weeks and reapply if necessary to get complete control.
