You will need a handheld spreader, push spreader, or broadcast spreader. You can also pour the product directly from the packaging.

How to Use

• Step 1: Locate where animals are most active by looking for signs like droppings, chewed plants, burrows, or overturned soil. Shake well before each use; granules are naturally moist and may clump. Use at least 1 lb. of Nature's Defense Behavior Modification Scent Granules per every 100 linear feet.
• Step 2: Lightly sprinkle granules in and around areas you wish to protect. It can be applied directly onto plants. For burrowing and tunneling animals, sprinkle granules into all holes and tunnels.
• Step 3: For active animal activity, reapply 2 times per week for 2 weeks. For severe animal activity, retreat 3 times per week for 3 weeks. If you are simply trying to prevent animals, reapply once per week.
