Repeating Humane Mouse Trap
Repeating Humane Mouse Trap
The Repeating Humane Mouse Trap, manufactured by Solutions Pest and Lawn, is a humane mouse trap that is used to catch live mice without the use of messy or poisonous baits. Once captured, this product allows the user to transport the captured mice and release them from the trap to a far location without harm.
The trap can hold up to 12 mice at a time and will continue to catch mice as long as the trap is set. The Repeating Humane Mouse Trap works by piquing the natural interests of the mouse as they look for shelter.
Simply wind the knob of the side of the trap, and when the mouse walks into the opening, a paddle is set off that pushes the mouse inside. The Repeating Humane Mouse Trap makes it easy to release the mice to a safer location.
Tools Needed
The Repeating Humane Mouse Trap does not need tools for operation, however, it can be used with glue boards. We do recommend you have a high protein bait like peanut butter to attract mice, and we also recommend you wear gloves to prevent leaving any human scent on the trap.
How to Use
- Step 1: Locate the areas where mice activity is occurring. The Repeating Humane Mouse Trap operates on a spring-loaded mechanism. Build force by turning the dial on the side of the trap about 7-10 half rotations clockwise. Be careful not to overwind the dial, as this may cause the device to break. You can also enhance the the effectiveness of this trap by planting bait within the storage chamber. We recommend you use peanut butter since its easy to apply and its strong scent is likely to attract mice. Do not place bait in the traps entryways as it may block the mechanism from swinging.
- Step 2: Once you have wound up the Repeating Humane Mouse Trap, place it where you have seen mice activity and make sure the trap is 1.5 to 2 inches away from and placed parallel to the wall. It can also be placed perpendicular against the wall so that the trap's entry holes will be in the rodent's direct travel path.
- Step 3: Check the Repeating Humane Mouse Trap daily and release trapped mice by sliding back the lid and pull the plate up. It is suggested to release the mice in appropriate areas at least 2 miles away from where they were caught.
- Step 4: Remove the panels and clean the Repeating Humane Mouse Trap until it is ready for use. Rewind the dial on the trap and repeat the process until mouse activity has stopped.
Where to Use
The Repeating Humane Mouse Trap can be used to catch mice indoors and outdoors in residential, commercial, or industrial areas. It is ideal for use in sensitive areas where lethal traps or rodenticides are not advised.
Be sure to set this trap in areas where you have seen mice activity. To determine the best locations to set traps, look for grease marks along walls, fur, rodent droppings, gnaw marks, and rodent burrows.
When to Use
The Repeating Humane Mouse Trap can be used by anyone who would want to relocate mice safely. Use this trap whenever mouse activity is suspected or confirmed, or use it to monitor for activity and stop infestations from harboring.
Safety Information
The Repeating Humane Mouse Trap is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling pesticides and pest control products.
Special Considerations
The Repeating Humane Mouse Trap is a non-lethal trap but you can optionally use glueboards inside the trap to add an extra measure of trapping.
Keep in mind the Repeating Humane Mouse Trap is not tamper-proof and must be placed in areas inaccessible to children, pets, and other animals.
The Repeating Humane Mouse Trap offers clean mouse control in and around your home or business. Most active infestations cannot be controlled through the use of one product. To catch the most mice possible, we recommend you set up multiple traps 10 to 15 feet apart throughout the entire treatment area.

Contacted them when we opened the box. They said we could not return them because it was past 3 days of receipt. Did not read the website... Did not see 3 day policy on ordering page. Will not order from here again
it works. Already trapping voles that's been nothing but a pest and a
destroyer. I really like the clear window that's on top. Let you see inside
what you've caught. The price was right too.

Q:is it better than other traps in trapping? Does it catch quickly?10/6/20A:It depends on the bait to attract them and if you release them before they die. Once a trapped one dies you have to wash the trap in order to remove that smell.

Q:Can this be used for voles?1/31/20A:Works great for mice and Kangaroo rat. Don't know about voles since they eat greens and don't know if they would enter since they are so quick to be out and back.

Q:What are the dimensions?10/4/19A:I don't know but it didn't work for me. Neither did 4 cats. I caught the mouse with a water glass and threw it outside.

Q:Is it big enough for rats?8/26/18A:No it isn't. It's made only for mouse-sized rodents. If you want to catch a rat alive go with a Havahart Live trap otherwise we only have rat traps that kill rats or large glue traps for rats. https://www.solutionsstores.com/havahart-live-trap

Q:If I buy the one with a clear plastic lid, isn't is possible + likely for the mouse to chew through it and escape? How likely is that to happen?6/30/18A:Linda, We purchased the same trap, with the clear plastic lid, a few months ago and have caught 15-20 mice in it. Not a single one has chewed through the lid since they are unable to get up to it. The trap has worked very well for us.

Q:We can figure out how to get the mice out?2/21/18A:Lift up on plastic lid and slide open, it has a notch on bottom of lid to keep from opening on its on. If you want them dead, drop trap in bucket of water for a few minuts and or put rat poision bars in trap prior to setting.
