Myclobutanil 20EW is a versatile fungicide that can be used in various landscape settings.
Tools Needed
You will need a hand-pump, hose-end, or backpack sprayer for residential spray treatments. Our top recommendation is a hand-pump sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Myclobutanil 20EW you will need by calculating the square footage of the treatment site. To do this, measure (in feet) the area length and width, then multiply the two values (length x width = square footage). The recommended rate for applying Myclobutanil is 1 to 2.4 fluid ounces per 1000 square feet for preventative disease control. The exact amount varies depending on the disease type (check the label).
- Step 2: In a hand-pump sprayer add water about halfway and then add Myclobutanil 20EW. Fill the tank the rest of the way with water then agitate well until the product is well mixed.
- Step 3: Apply the Myclobutanil spray solution as a spot treatment upon the first sign of the disease to the foliage or you could spray the solution preventatively. We recommend setting the sprayer to a fan spray to get a nice uniform coating on the infected plant.
- Step 4: Reapply as needed every 7 to 10 days until the disease is gone or preventatively once a month during the disease season. It may take up to two months of repeat applications to successfully remove the disease, depending on the disease type.
Where to Use
Myclobutanil is a versatile formula and can be used to prevent or cure diseases found on turf and/or ornamentals on residential lawns, agricultural settings, golf courses, parks, athletic fields and more. Check the label for the complete list of areas.
When to Use
Use Myclobutanil any time of the year when you notice a fungal disease on your lawn or ornamentals. You can also apply it preventatively during the growing season.
