Monterey Seed Starter 1-1-1 Fertilizer

Monterey Seed Starter 1-1-1 Fertilizer, manufactured by Monterey, is an excellent seed starter fertilizer concentrate that provides necessary nutrients for both root and shoot growth. 

This balanced 1-1-1 npk formula ensures that all critical growth factors of newly seeded lawns, vegetable gardens, and other seed plantings are supported from the moment seeds are planted. Phosphorus, in particular, is critical for root growth, helping seeds establish a strong foundation.

It can be applied in a water bucket, pump-up, or hose-end sprayer. 

How to Use

• Step 1: Before applying Monterey Seed Starter 1-1-1 Fertilizer, ensure the soil surface is clear of debris. Depending on your fertilization and watering schedule the rates will vary. For applications once a month apply 2 tbs. of Monterey Seed Starter 1-1-1 Fertilizer per gallon of water. For applications twice a month, use 1 tbs. of product per gallon of water. For applications during each watering, apply 1 tsp. of product per gallon of water. 
• Step 2: Fill your sprayer with half the amount of water and add the measured amount of product. Lastly, pour in the remaining half of the water. Agitate the mixing tank until the solution is mixed.
• Step 3: Apply the mixed solution evenly across the treatment area.

Monterey Seed Starter 1-1-1 Fertilizer can be applied to newly seeded lawns, vegetable gardens, and other seed plantings. 

When to Use

Spray this product during the growth of plant seedlings.

Special Considerations

This product may stain. Keep spray off areas such as: sidewalks, patios, driveways, fences, and painted areas. As a precaution, rinse off these areas with water after applying.
