Monterey Nutra Green 5-10-5 All Purpose Fertilizer Plus Micronutrients, manufactured by Monterey, is a well-balanced 5-10-5 NPK-based fertilizer that allows gardeners, homeowners, and landscapers to improve plant growth, flowering, and fruit production and contribute to a beautiful, healthier landscape and garden. 

The 5-10-5 npk ratio in this product helps provide balanced nutrition for a wide range of plants, such as trees and shrubs. The lower nitrogen controls excessive leaf growth, while the higher phosphorus supports root and flower development. In addition, Monterey Nutra Green contains micronutrients that nourish the plants and improve the soil structure, making it more fertile. 

Monterey Nutra Green 5-10-5 All Purpose Fertilizer Plus Micronutrients ensures various garden and ornamental plants receive all the essential nutrients for healthy, well-rounded growth and survival in low-nutrient soils. As a result, the growth, blooms, size, and quality of fruits and vegetables greatly increase.

It can be applied in a water bucket, handheld pump, or hose-end sprayer.

How to Use

• Step 1: Examine the foliage to see what type it is and its current state of health. Depending on how often you wish to treat and if there are watering practices the rates will vary. For applications once a month, use 2 tbs. of Monterey Nutra Green 5-10-5 All Purpose Fertilizer Plus Micronutrients per 1 gallon of water. For applications twice a month, use 1 tbs. of product per 1 gallon of water. For each watering, apply 1 tsp. of product per 1 gallon of water. 
• Step 2: Fill the sprayer with half the amount of water and add the measured amount of product. Pour in the remaining half of the water and shake the container well before spraying.
• Step 3: Spray the soil surrounding the base of the plant thoroughly to reach its root zone for soil applications. To make foliar applications, spray the top and bottom of plant leaves until wet. Do not water for at least 24 hours to avoid washing off fertilizer.

When to Use

Apply early in the morning or late evening when the plant is actively growing and it is not under any type of drought conditions.

Special Considerations

This product may stain. Keep spraying off areas such as sidewalks, patios, driveways, fences, and painted areas. As a precaution, rinse off these areas with water after applying.
