Monterey Iron Combo 1-0-2 Concentrate Fertilizer

Monterey Iron Combo 1-0-2 Concentrate Fertilizer, manufactured by Monterey, is a broad-spectrum micronutrient fertilizer that controls and lessens iron and other micronutrient deficiencies in shrubs, trees, and lawns. 

This liquid fertilizer provides ornamental and garden plants with a balanced 1-0-2 npk formulation, including iron and copper. It is especially useful in iron chlorosis, a common nutrient deficiency that causes leaf yellowing; its quick correction of this condition helps plants recover their vibrant green color. 

Monterey Iron Combo 1-0-2 Concentrate Fertilizer is a well-balanced fertilizer that strengthens plants' resistance to environmental stressors, improves growth, and supports a more lush foliage. 

Tools Needed

It can be applied with a water bucket, handheld pump sprayer, or a hose-end sprayer.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Monterey Iron Combo 1-0-2 Concentrate Fertilizer to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For lawns and turf, use 2 tbsp. of Monterey Iron Combo 1-0-2 Concentrate Fertilizer per gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. A general application for all other application sites will use 2 tbs. of product per 1 gallon of water once a month. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions. 
• Step 2: Fill the sprayer or watering can with half the amount of water. Add in the proper amount of product to the water. Stir or agitate the solution while pouring in the remaining half of the water. Wait until the solution is fully dissolved in the water before application. 
• Step 3: As a foliar spray, treat the top and bottom of plant leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff. A soil application can be done by spraying around the plant's root zone. Reapply once a month or twice a month, depending on your preference. Do not water for at least 24 hours to avoid washing off fertilizer. This allows the uptake of nutrients into the leaf. 

Where to Use

Monterey Iron Combo 1-0-2 Concentrate Fertilizer can be applied on ornamentals, fruits, vegetables, lawns, gardens, trees, and shrubs. 

When to Use

Apply early in the morning or late evening when plants are actively growing. 

Do not apply if heavy rain is expected after application.

Special Considerations

This product contains Boron (B); use on any plants other than those recommended ay result in serious injury to the crops.

Adding more than the recommended rate may burn plants.
