Moccasin II Plus Herbicide
Moccasin ll Plus Herbicide is a potent selective herbicide that prevents future broadleaf and grassy weeds in a wide list of crops.
04/10/26
Moccasin ll Plus Herbicide, manufactured by United Phosphorous, is an economical pre-emergent herbicide with excellent residual soil activity against a broad-spectrum of broadleaf and grassy weeds in commercial crops.
This powerful herbicide contains 6 times more of the active ingredient S-metolachlor 82.4% than other standard metolachlor herbicides on the market. Additionally, Moccasin ll Plus Herbicide flexible application timings from pre-plant burndown, to at-planting to pre-emergence, and post-emergence offers professional growers an advantage to avoid weed resistance.
Moccasin ll Plus Herbicide is a strong residual weed control product that gives commercial growers fighting resistance to weeds such as pigweed and more at various times of the year resulting in complete crop protection.
Tools Needed
To apply Moccasin ll Plus Herbicide, you will need to use a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, aircraft, hose-end sprayer, spray rig, or centor pivot irrigation system.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Moccasin ll Plus Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). To treat safflower with coarse soils, use 1.0 - 1.33 pints of Moccasin ll Plus Herbicide in 10 gallons of water per acre. Refer the label for specific application rates.
- Step 2: Mix Moccasin II Plus Herbicide with water or fluid fertilizer and apply as a spray. Fill the spray tank 1/2 - 3/4 full with water or fluid fertilizer, add the proper amount of product, then add the rest of the water or fluid fertilizer. Provide sufficient agitation during mixing and application to maintain a uniform emulsion.
- Step 3: Broadcast the Moccasin ll Plus Herbicide over the treatment area until wet, but not to the point of runoff.
