Mn-jet Fe Injectable Micronutrient, manufactured by Arbjorjet, is a specially formulated micronutrient that provides essential nutrients for shade trees, palms, flowering trees, shrubs, vines and ground cover plants.

This product significally reduces mineral deficiencies in ornamental plants that occur during the spring and fall season. Even at the lowest application rate, Mn-jet Fe Injectable Micronutrient produces rapid green-up in 2 to 4 weeks.

Mn-jet Fe Injectable Micronutrient is a superior micronutrient product that increases chlorophyll production for up to three growing seasons; and it improves tree vitality and enhances the natural green color, restoring the aesthetic qualities of landscape trees and other ornamental foliage.

Tools Needed

Mn-jet Fe Injectable Micronutrient can be applied by trunk injection to shade trees and palms. It may also be used as a foliar application for flowering trees, shrubs, vines and ground cover plants with backpack sprayer or spray rig.

Do not apply this product with thermal foggers.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Determine how much Mn-jet Fe Injectable Micronutrient to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). Measure the diameter of the tree at breast height (DBH) in inches. If measuring circumference, divide the measurement by 3 to determine DBH. Use the table to determine the rate to apply. Multiply rate (for example, the early summer rate) of 5 mL / inch DBH by the inch DBH of the tree. If the tree is 10” in diameter, then the dose per tree is 5 mL x 10” or 50 mLs. To perform tree injections, use 5 mL of Mn-jet Fe Injectable Micronutrient per inch of DBH or 10-15 mL of product per inch of DBH. For palm injections, apply 10-25 mLs for canopy spread of 6-12", 25-50 mLs of product per 12-24', or 50-75 mLs of product per 24-48'. To treat small trees, shrubs, vines, and ground covers use 1.5 fl. oz. of product per 64 fl. oz. of water per 1,000 sq. ft.
  • Step 2: Fill the sprayer with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Mn-jet Fe Injectable Micronutrient, then pour in remaining half of water. Close the spray tank lid and shake until solution is well-mixed. For spray rigs, use a stirring stick to mix inside tank.
  • Step 3: Make Mn-jet Fe Injectable Micronutrient solution injection applications near the base of the tree, applying one injection hole every 4 to 8” of circumference, rounding up or down to the nearest whole number of injection sites, and dividing the dose equally among the injection sites. In resinous conifers such as pines and spruces, make applications immediately after drilling the injection hole to minimize resin flow. Spray the mixed product over the top of foliage leaves until wet, but to the point of runoff for foliar applications.

Where to Use

Use Mn-jet Fe Injectable Micronutrient on shade trees, palms, flowering trees, shrubs, vines and ground cover plants.

When to Use

Apply Mn-jet Fe Injectable Micronutrient when ambient daytime temperatures average 32˚F or during the cool hours of the early morning or evening when wind speeds are less than 10mph.

Safety Information

Mn-jet Fe Injectable Micronutrient is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.

Do not let people or pets enter treated areas until the spray has completely dried.
