Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel Triple Pack
Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel Triple Pack
Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel Triple Pack, manufactured by Bayer, is an effective single-feeding gel bait for treating indoor and outdoor cockroach infestations, including commercial kitchens.
With the triple pack you get more of the patented roach killing formula for less in three 60 gram tubes. Its unique formula attracts cockroaches in the poorest sanitization environments and when other food sources are available, providing quicker control of pests. A foraging cockroach will recieve a lethal dose in one feeding, but will survive long enough to return to hard to reach harborage areas. Once dead, its contaminated feces will be consumed by other cockroaches creating a long lasting form of control.
Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel Triple Pack also gives a long residual control that lasts up to a year, so a pack of three will last you for the long haul.
Tools Needed
There are no products necessary as the gel bait comes ready to use though you could use Maxforce FC with a professional bait gun such as our Bait Gun D32.
How to Use
- Step 1: To use indoors, simply apply ½ an inch of bait to crevices and cracks in the wall with applicator tip. A small amount of bait should do the trick. Do not apply the gal bait where food, utensils, or processing surfaces may be contaminated. It can be used in kitchens but only as a crack and crevice treatment (think in the corners of kitchen cabinets where contact with dishes or pots would be unlikely, or under and behind appliances).
- Step 2: To use outdoors as a perimeter barrier and to prevent cockroaches from entering your property, use as crack and crevice treatment along walls and foundation of the house. Entry points, such as eaves, sills, and expansion joints are ideal places to apply the gel bait. It’s important to note that gel bait will be affected if exposed to direct sunlight and water and its residual control might lessen.
- Step 3: As the infected cockroach goes back to the nest, it generates infected feces that the rest of the cockroach population feeds on, and as the infected cockroach dies, and other cockroaches eat its corpse along with its feces, the whole population gets infected.
Where to Use
Maxforce FC Roach Bait is labeled to be used indoors and outdoors (adjacent to homes & structures) for the control of cockroaches in in residential areas and the non-food/non-feed areas of institutional, warehousing and commercial establishments. Non-food/non-feed areas include bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms, closets. And in food/feed areas of food/feed handling establishments only as a spot or crevice treatment away from exposed surfaces where food is handled. Areas of focus would be baseboards, floorboards, under appliances, in cabinets and other areas where roaches frequent.
When to Use
Maxforce FC should be used when there is an indoor cockroach infestation that is quickly growing which can happen any time of the year, in any weather.
Safety Information
This product is safe to use around pets and kids when used according to the label. Remember to always place this roach bait in hard to reach places for children and pets. Although this product boasts a small percentage of its active ingredient and will probably not cause secondary poising to pets if they were to ingest infected roaches, it is best to keep the product away from pets and children. Before using and handling the product take care to use protective equipment such as gloves and a long sleeve shirt to avoid contact with skin (To buy pesticide handling equipment click here). Read all instructions, disclaimers, and application directions on the label.
Special Considerations
Before beginning your application of this product take care to clean your home and place of business before applying the roach bait, as this is half the battle. Clean up and leave no food sources available that might deter roaches from ingesting and coming into contact with the roach bait.
