Tools Needed
To use Mavrik Aquaflow Insecticide, you will need either a pump sprayer, a hose end sprayer, a backpack sprayer, or a spray rig for large volume applications. For smaller, household jobs, we recommend using a 1 gallon hand pump sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Mavrik Aquaflow Insecticide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). Indoor ornamentals will use 0.5 to 0.25 of Mavrik Aquaflow Insecticide per 2.5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Greenhouse applications, mix 4-10 fl. oz. of product per 100 gallons of water per 20,000 sq. ft. of greenhouse space. Outdoor perimeter treatments, apply 0.2 to 0.5 fl. oz. of product per 5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For specific application rates it would be best to refer to the product label.
- Step 2: Fill your sprayer halfway with water, then add the chemical. Fill the sprayer with the remaining amount of water, screw on the lid, and thoroughly agitated the sprayer.
- Step 3: Apply the product over the desired areas. Avoid applying to any impermeable surfaces so as to prevent any runoff or drainage to a storm drain or source of water.
- Step 4: Allow product to dry where applied, and keep all pets and people out of the treated areas until they’re dry. Reapplication may necessary in 1-2 weeks, depending on the level of infestation and your targeted pest. Refer to the label for proper treatment and retreatment times.
