TakeDown Rat Soft Bait is manufactured by LiphaTech and is an effective professional bait that can eliminate big or small rodent infestations quickly. TakeDown comes in small packets which are not only palatable, but can also remain effective in any weather. Rodents that come in contact with the soft bait will feed more readily and often than other harder bait formulations. Use TakeDown when you want to put a stop to a rodent infestation before it gets worse.

Tools Needed

To use TakeDown Bait you will need to use tamper resistant bait stations to keep the bait away from people, pets, and non-target animals. You will also need chemical resistant gloves when handling the bait.

How to Use

• Step 1:Identify trouble areas (where the mouse or rat droppings have been sighted, small holes and cracks in walls, between small openings behind or close to appliances) to have a good starting point where blocks can be placed around the perimeter or inside your house.
• Step 2: Place TakeDown Soft Bait in bait stations, then place bait stations near areas of rat or mouse activity. For rat control, you’ll want to place about 4 to 24 pouches per area, spaced 15 to 30 feet apart from each other. For Mice, place 1 to 4 pouches every 8 to 12 feet around the infested area.
• Step 3: Monitor your bait placement and replenish as needed. Although one night’s feeding will usually provide a lethal dose, maintain bait for at least one week to provide all rodents a chance to feed on the bait. Continue baiting until all signs of feeding have ceased.
• Step 4: Wearing gloves, collect and dispose of all dead, exposed rodents and leftover bait. If reinfestation does occur, repeat treatment. Where a continuous source of infestation is present, establish permanent bait stations and replenish as needed.

Where to Use

TakeDown can be used to control rats and mice in and within 100 feet of man-made structures. This includes homes and other permanent or temporary residences, food processing facilities, industrial and commercial buildings, trash receptacles, agricultural and public buildings, transport vehicles (ships, trains, aircraft), docks and port or terminal buildings, and related structures around and associated with these sites. Fence and perimeter baiting beyond 100 feet from a structure, as defined above, is prohibited.

When to Use

TakeDown Soft Bait can be used when you are dealing with rodents that have trespassed in your building and are growing their population. This can happen any time of the year but is especially common in fall and winter periods. Using first generation baits are best for when you need quick control of rodents in sensitive areas, like warehouses or food facilities.

Safety Information

TakeDown Soft Bait is safe to use around humans and pets if you apply according to label directions. To ensure children, pets and innocent wildlife do not come in contact with the bait, use tamper proof bait stations.

Special Considerations

Takedown comes in a 4 pound bag with 227 pouches per bag. Bait may be removed from the pouch and placed in a feeding device that secures the unwrapped bait in a bait station. Discard the empty wrapper in the trash.
