Lambda GC-O is a special formulated insecticide. It is applied to various types residential and commercial landscapes. It controls chinch bugs sod webworms, ants, and other insects that destroy turfs and lawns. This product is a restricted use pesticide (RUP) and only available to certified applicators.

Lambda GC-O, manufactured by Quali-Pro, is formulated with the active ingredient, lambda-cyhalothrin that control a wide range of grass and plant destroying insects.
Lambda GC-O is ideal for residential lawns and turfs on sport fields. It control aphids, chinch bugs, ants, and other insects that make a lawn unpleasant. Lambda GC-O provides a quick knockdown and long-lasting residual effect.
Tools Needed
To apply Lambda GC-O a hose end sprayer, backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, or professional skid sprayer is needed. For small ornamental flower beds, we recommend using a handheld pump sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Lambda GC-O Golf Course Insecticide to use by measuring the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). To control pests in turf, use 3.4 to 14 mL of Lambda GC-O Golf Course Insecticide per 2 to 5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For spot treatments in turf use 0.5 fl. oz. of product per 1 to 2.5 gallons of water. Refer to the product label for specific rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water and add the proper amount of product. Pour in the remaining half of the water and shake the spray tank to mix well. If other mix-ins are added, put Lambda GC-O in the spray tank last.
- Step 3: Make spot treatment applications to the point of runoff on plants and other label approved areas where insect activity is seen. Spray the top and bottom of leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff.
Where to Use
Lambda GC-O can be used on residential and commercial turfs and lawns, around apartment homes, houses, parks, golf courses, sports fields, office buildings, and more. It can be applied to vegetation at nurseries and sod farms.
Do no apply Lambda GC-O to food or feed crops.
When to Use
Lambda GC-O can be applied as a preventative treatment and as a control method to stop insects from damaging turfs, lawns, foliage plants, and other types of vegetation. It is suggested to apply before severe infestations form and reapply once a week if needed to gain control.
Do not apply Lambda GC-O during blooming season to prevent harming pollinating insects such as bees.
Safety Information
Lambda GC-O is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying Lambda GC-O.
Do not allow children or pets to enter treated areas until the areas are completely dry.
Special Considerations
Lambda GC-O must be applied thoroughly to the point of runoff for maximum results and a surfactant may be added to ensure the insecticide sticks to targeted plants.
