Kick Soil Conditioner and Liquid Nutrient, manufactured by EarthWorks, is a powerful soil conditioner that loosens up tight, compacted soils and enhance root growth of foliage with over 20 raw materials and 2 active ingredients.

Powered by a humic acid complex and various other natural materials, this products successfully keeps out sodium and bicarbonates out of the root zone of turf and ornamentals leading to less competitor for uptake of desired nutrients. These humic acids also help to protect needed microbes in the soil from harsh environments so they can effectively mobilize nutrients and digest thatch.

Kick Soil Conditioner and Liquid Nutrient contains a strong biological stimulation that effectively softens compacted soil in turf and ornamentals, allowing them the chance for their roots to grow deeper for better access to water and nutrients.

How to Use

Hose-End Spray Application

  • Step 1: Determine how much Kick Soil Conditioner and Liquid Nutrient to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). Apply 5 to 10 oz. of Kick Soil Conditioner and Liquid Nutrient in 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. of turf. To treat new seeding, use 6 oz. of product in 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. at the time of seeding and again 4 to 6 weeks later. For sod installations, apply 6 oz. of product in 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft after laying sod. To treat compacted soils, use 8 oz. of product in 5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For tree soil injections, apply 1 quart of product in 100 gallons of water per 3,000 sq. ft. of root area. For stressed and damaged trees, reduce coverage to 1500 sq. ft. root area. To use this product for landscaping maintenance, you will drench soil with 4 oz. of product in 2 gallons of water.
  • Step 2: To mix in backpack and handheld pump sprayers, fill the tank with half the required amount of water then measured amount of Kick Soil Conditioner and Liqud Nutrient. Pour the remaining half of the water into the spray tank and shake until solution is well-mixed. For hose-end sprayers, you will pour the required amount of product into the reservoir then spray until the appropriate amount of water is added to mix. To use in injection systems, you will need to mix the product in a separate container then mix as instructed for the pump sprayers. Once it is mixed you will add the finished solution as instructed to your injection system.
  • Step 3: Adjust your sprayer to deliver a low, coarse spray pattern in order to treat the entire soil surface with mixed Kick Soil Conditioner and Liquid Nutrient.
