Kanemite 15 SC Miticide
Kanemite 15 SC Miticide is an exceptional miticide that delivers rapid knockdown and extended residual control of mites in a variety of specialty crops.
Kanemite 15 SC Miticide, manufactured by United Phosphorous, is a powerful modern miticide that shows complete control over all stages of mites, while being easy on predatory mites and beneficial insects.
This contact insecticide is formulated by the unique active ingredient acequinocyl 15.8%, which interferes with the nerves impulse leading to impaired brain function and eventual death of pests.
Kanemite 15 SC Miticide provides complete mite control with no known cross-resistance making it easier to rotate between miticides with no adverse effects.
Tools Needed
Kanemite 15 SC Miticide can be applied with a spray rig.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Kanemite 15 SC Miticide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). To treat avocado, use 31 fl. oz. of Kanemite 15 SC Miticide per 100 gallons of water per acre. Refer to the label for specific application rates.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Kanemite 15 SC Miticide, then pour in the remaining half of water. Stir the material in the tank or let the pump circulate long enough until the solution is well-mixed.
- Step 3: Spray the Kanemite 15 SC Miticide to every row of the crop until completley covered. Do not use in alternate row middle applications. Allow the set number of days to pass for each crop as listed on the label before making another application.
