The JT Eaton Bait Block 2G, manufactured by J.T. Eaton, is a powerful anticoagulant (single feed) rodenticide that quickly controls large populations of warfarin resistant Norway rats, roof rats, and house mice in and within 100 feet of homes, industrial and commercial buildings, and other manmade structures.

Features a high resistance to extreme weather conditions, and other humid conditions allowing rodents to revisit the bait without causing the bait to become ineffective. Another unique design feature of this rodent bait wax blocks is its multiple edges to encourage rat and mouse feeding then perish from a single feeding within 10-15 days.

JT Eaton Bait Block 2G are capable of being used in a wide variety of bait stations, making them effective in many indoor and outdoor locations. These brightly colored blocks have fresh scents to entice the most resistant rodent, but it also contains Bitrex to discourage pets and children from consuming the lethal bait material.

Tools Needed:

To use JT Eaton Bait Block 2G, you will need to place it in a tamper-resistant bait station. Stronger bait stations are recommended in areas open to hoofed livestock, raccoons, bears, or other potentially destructive animals, or in areas prone to vandalism.

How to Use:

  • Step 1: Locate and identify if there are rats or mice present and what areas they frequent. This will help determine the best places for treatment, and how many bait blocks need to be used.
  • Step 2: Use 6 to 7 JT Eaton Bait Blocks 2G per bait station with each station spaced 15 to 30 feet apart for Norway rats and roof rats. For house mice, place 1 to 2 bait blocks per bait station with each station spaced 6 to 16 feet apart.
  • Step 3: Place the bait station in the desired area, make sure it cannot be tampered with by children or pets. If JT Eaton Bait Block 2G can be shaken from your selected bait station then secure it or otherwise immobilize it.
  • Step 4: While wearing gloves, replace contaminated or spoiled bait immediately. Check the bait stations every 10 days for rats and 15 days for mice to resupply JT Eaton Bait Block 2G until your rodent problem has been controlled. Collect and properly dispose of dead animals and leftover bait and bait bags, as well as any bait that has become accessible to non-target animals.

Where to Use:

JT Eaton Bait Block 2G must be placed in a tamper-resistant bait station in and within 100 feet of manmade structures like homes and other permanent or temporary residences, food processing facilities, industrial and commercial buildings, trash receptacles, agricultural and public buildings, transport vehicles (ships, trains, aircraft), docks and ports of terminal buildings and related structures around and associated with these sites.

Fence and perimeter baiting, beyond 100 feet from a structure as defined above, is prohibited.

Do not apply this product to food or feed crops, and near or inside ventilation duct openings.

When to Use:

The JT Eaton Bait Blocks 2G can be used during the first signs of an infestation, or during an active infestation.

To discourage re-infestation, limit sources of rodent food, water, and harborage as much as possible. Seal any cracks, crevices, and openings with caulk. For larger voids fill it with Copper Mesh.
