Tools Needed

A hose-end sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or spray rig can be used.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Insignia SC Intrinsic Brand Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For turfgrass, apply 0.4 to 0.7 fl. oz. of Insignia SC Intrinsic Brand Fungicide per 2-4 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. depending on the disease. To treat landscape ornamentals, use 3.0 to 12.2 fl. oz. of product per 100 gallons of water. Do not apply more than a total of 4.4 fluid ounces of Insignia SC per 1000 sq. ft. per year. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions. 
• Step 2: Fill the sprayer tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, and then pour in the last half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until the solution is well-mixed.
• Step 3: Spray the top and bottom of plant leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff. Thorough coverage and wetting of foliage and crown of the ornamental is necessary for best control. Do not make more than 3 consecutive applications of Insignia SC for all other turfgrass diseases. In ornamental plants, do not make more than 2 sequential applications.

Insignia SC Intrinsic Brand Fungicide can be used in the following turf sites: golf courses, residential lawns, institutional lawns, commercial lawns, municipal lawns, parks, recreational areas, sport fields, athletic fields, cemeteries, and sod farms. 

It may also be used on ornamentals in residential and commercial landscapes, interiorscapes, and recreational areas including golf courses.

When to Use

Apply before the onset of disease-favorable conditions or at the first sign of disease symptoms.

Avoid applications when rainfall is not expected within 48 hours of application.

Insignia SC Intrinsic Brand Fungicide is safe for people and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.

Do not allow people or pets to enter the treated area until the spray has dried.
