The Inline Strainer Screen is manufactured by Hypro and is a replacement strainer screen designed for Hypro Inline Strainers made for pesticide spray rigs. The purpose of the inline strainer is to filter out debris from the spray hose and the tank for a smooth spray application. The strainer screen is placed inside the inline strainer bowl to catch the debris. The strainer screen is made with stainless steel mesh and should is vital when servicing your professional spray rig.
Tools Needed
To use the Inline Strainer Screen, you will need to install it onto a Hypro Inline Strainer. It can be easily installed without additional tools needed.
How to Use
- Step 1: Detach the Hypro Inline Strainer from your Spray Rig.
- Step 2: Twist off the bowl of the strainer and inside should be the strainer screen. Make sure it is clean and inspect it for any tears or rips. If damaged, replace with the new Strainer Screen.
- Step 3: Reattach the Inline Strainer to the spray rig and then perform a test run to check that the strainer is properly doing its job in filtering out debris.
Where to Use
The Inline Strainer Screen is meant to be placed inside the bowl of the Hypro Inline Strainer which is found on the connection between the tank and the pump of the spray rig.
When to Use
Replace the Inline strainer screen when your spray rig is not delivering a smooth spray or is getting clogged.
Safety Information
The Inline Strainer Screen is safe to install and operate when done so by following the service manual instructions. Use the proper PPE (gloves, long-sleeved clothing) when operating and maintaining the roller pump.
