Inline Strainer for Spray Rigs
Inline Strainer for Spray Rigs
The Inline Strainer, manufactured by Hypro, is an essential component in pesticide spray rigs.
The purpose of the inline strainer is to filter our debris from the spray hose and the tank for a smooth spray application.
The Inline Strainer is a low-profile strainer that comes with a removable bowl, strainer screen, and gasket for easy clean up and can be easily installed.
Tools Needed
To use the Inline Strainer you will need to install it onto a pesticide spraying rig. It should be easily twisted via the threading.
How to Use
- Step 1: Twist off the bowl of the strainer and inside should be the strainer screen. Make sure it is clean and inspect it for any tears or rips.
- Step 2: Following system installation instructions, install the inline strainer to your pesticide spraying rig system. The strainer hooks up just before the pump. Tighten to ensure that it is secure.
- Step 3: Run the spraying rig on to check that the strainer is properly doing its job in filtering out debris.
Where to Use
The Inline Strainer can be used on pesticide spraying rigs and is installed on the connection between the tank and the pump.
When to Use
Replace the Inline strainer when your spray rig is not delivering a smooth spray or is getting clogged.
Safety Information
The Inline Strainer 1" is safe to install and operate when done so by following the service manual instructions. Use the proper PPE (gloves, long-sleeved clothing) when operating and maintaining the roller pump.
