Indemnify Turf Nematicide

Indemnify Turf Nematicide, manufactured by Envu, is a professional systemic nematicide that easily manages and prevents a broad-spectrum of nematodes in turf within all golf course areas of play, residential, and other turf areas.

The active ingredient in Indemnify is fluopyram, a next-generation fungicide-turned-nematicide that offers systemic movement within the plant. This means you’re not just affecting nematodes at the surface, you’re protecting roots and restoring turf vitality from the inside out.

Indemnify Turf Nematicide is an easy-to-use nematicide that stops root decline, inconsistent performance, or unexplained patchiness caused by nematodes. Many older nematicides break down quickly or only affect nematodes on contact. Indemnify remains active in the soil longer, providing up to 4-6 weeks of root zone protection with each application.

A backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, or spray rig can be used.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Indemnify Turf Nematicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). A general application will use 0.195 to 0.39 fl. oz. of Indemnify Turf Nematicide per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For residential turf, do not exceed the rate of 0.355 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. To make a Curative Spot Treatment, apply the highest prescribed dose of Indemnify and repeat up to 4 times at the prescribed intervals. For curative spot treatments, treat no more than 10,000 sq. ft. per acre per year. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
• Step 2: Fill the sprayer tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, then pour in the remaining half of water. Close the tank lid and shake until the solution is mixed.
• Step 3: Spray evenly across the turf until the top and bottom of leaves are wet, but not to the point of runoff. After 24 hours, irrigate the treated area enough to reach the depth of turf root zone. A second application can be done when 14 days have passed from the first treatment.

Indemnify Turf Nematicide can be used in turf on golf courses, sod farms, sport fields, residential, institutional, municipal, commercial, and other turfgrass areas.

When to Use

Begin applications preventively when conditions are favorable for nematode activity or at the early stages of nematode activity.

Avoid applications if rainfall is expected to occur within 48 hours of treatment. 

Safety Information

Indemnify Turf Nematicide is safe for people and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product. 

Do not allow people or pets to enter the treatment area until the spray has dried.

Special Considerations

Nematode damage worsens under stress (heat, drought, compaction), making healthy maintenance practices critical.
