IMIFLEX Herbicide
IMIFLEX Herbicide
IMIFLEX Herbicide is an easy to use pre- and post-emergent herbicide that controls a wide range of difficult weeds in igrowth sorghum and other crops.
IMIFLEX Herbicide, manufactured by United Phosphorous, is a long-lasting systemic herbicide that provides a broader choice and greater value against the toughest of broadleaf and grassy weeds.
Consistent performance of weeds such as cocklebur, smartweed, and sandbur within multiple environments while also demonstrating crop safety.
IMIFLEX Herbicide excellent broad-spectrum and residual control helps professional growers reach full yield and potential of large crop fields within 7-10 days.
Tools Needed
To apply IMIFLEX Herbicide, you will need to use a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or spray rig.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much IMIFLEX Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). To treat alfalfa, use 6 fl. oz. of IMIFLEX Herbicide per 10 gallons of water per acre. Refer to the label for specific application rates.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add measured amount of IMIFLEX Herbicide, and pour in the last half of water. Close the tank lid and agitate it until well-mixed.
- Step 3: Spray the top and bottom of weed leaves with IMIFLEX Herbicide to the point of wet, but not to the point of runoff. Reapply as instructed on the label for the specific crop you are treating.
Where to Use
Apply IMIFLEX Herbicide to sorghum containing AdvantaTM igrowthTM Technology, alfalfa, beans (dry), chicory, clover grown for nonfood and nonfeed, clover grown for seed, edamame, lima beans (succulent), peas (dry), pea (English), snap bean, and soybeans.
When to Use

Keith's Pro Tips | “It is possible that pollen-mediated gene flow from igrowth sorghum to weedy relatives, including johnsongrass and shattercane, may contribute to the development of resistance to ALS herbicides in these biotypes. Plant into fields in which emerged weeds have been controlled by tillage or non-selective herbicides, including glyphosate. Manage shattercane and johnsongrass growth in road ditches, fence rows, and nearby places so their flowering does not coincide with the igrowth sorghum flowering.” |
Product Drawbacks | IMIFLEX Herbicide is toxic to plants and may adversely impact the forage and habitat of non-target organisms, including pollinators, in areas adjacent to the treated site. |
