Hi-Yield Range and Pasture Dicamba + D
Hi-Yield Range and Pasture Dicamba + D is a powerful selective herbicide that delivers reliable, long-lasting broadleaf weed and brush control in pastures, rangelands, crops, and non-crop areas, helping landowners maintain cleaner, more productive forage.
03/14/26
Hi-Yield Range and Pasture Dicamba + D, manufactured by VPG, is a dependable post-emergent herbicide that offers selective control over numerous broadleaf weeds and brush in pastures, rangelands, hay fields, farmsteads, and more for the average rancher and land managers.
It is specifically engineered to control broadleaf weeds and woody brush without harming desirable grasses. This systemic, selective herbicide contains dicamba 12.5% and 2,4-D 36.0%. These two active ingredients work together to kill weeds from the roots up, ensuring dependable long-term suppression of tough, established, deep-rooted species such as crabgrass, goosegrass, trumpetcreeper, and pigweed.
Hi-Yield Range and Pasture Dicamba + D is a large-scale, multi-use, highly reliable broadleaf and brush control herbicide that fits into almost any agricultural or rural land management program. Its wide-ranging label, affordable coverage, and ability to tackle everything from CRP land and pastures to ditches, rights-of-way, and farm ground make it a practical choice for anyone managing significant acreage.
Tools Needed
A knapsack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, spray rig, or aircraft could be used.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Hi-Yield Range and Pasture Dicamba + D to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by acreage (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For spot treatments, mix 1 fl. oz. of Hi-Yield Range and Pasture Dicamba + D with 1 gallon of water. To control broadleaf weeds, use 1/3 to 1 fl. oz. of product per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, and pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until the solution is well-mixed.
- Step 3: Adjust the sprayer nozzle to a fine, spray pattern. Treat the top and bottom of weed leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff. For broadcast applications, do not spray higher than 4 feet above the crop canopy. Retreatment may be made 30 days after initial treatment.
Where to Use
Hi-Yield Range and Pasture Dicamba + D can be used on Conservation Reserve Program Land, Fallow Systems (Between Crop Applications), General Farmstead, Sorghum, Grass (Hay or Silage), Pastures, Rangeland, Sugarcane, Wheat, Corn (Preplant and Preemergence), Soybeans (Preplant) and Cotton (Preplant).
